Summary: Kimona receives the shock of her life
Kimona sat in the living room and
relaxed while reading her book. Scott was over at the studio taping Impact. She
had plans to go with him to with him to the PPV on Sunday. She was packing her
clothes when she heard the doorbell. It was
Kimona opened the door and noticed
the woman holding a little girl. Kimona was thrown off because the little girl
had Scott’s eyes. The woman introduced herself as Samantha and her daughter as
Tamar Baptiste Levy. Kimona nearly passed out as she
invited them into the house. Kimona looked at Tamar as she listened to Samantha
tell the story of how her and Scott met. Samantha stated they had a
relationship; he was even there throughout her pregnancy. She apologized
because she didn’t know about Kimona until after Tamar was born.
Kimona sat still confused and messed
up. Scott not only had a relationship but a child as well. She finally
reconnected with reality. Samantha only wanted Scott to claim Tamar. Samantha’s
intentions were not to be disrespectful. Samantha declared that Scott stated he
did not want to see her and that Tamar was not his. Kimona tried to comprehend
how Scott could deny his own flesh and blood. Kimona thought through everything
Samantha had said. What kind of man was Scott?
Samantha left the name of the DNA
testing site. She apologized again. She was being a real woman. She was facing
up to her mistake. She could have called but she could never get the nerve. Her
intentions were not to hurt Kimona. It’s just that she’s lost and alone. Samantha
offered a half-smile, picked Tamar up and left.
Kimona would never lose the image of
Tamar out of her mind. She sat as she began to cry. His friends stated that
Scott had secrets but she did not think they were talking about children. She
accepted that there could never be anymore Kimona and Scott. She was really
confused and messed up that she had to make a decision and move on before Scott
would return. She had stood beside him through so much, but this was too much.
She walked upstairs and packed the rest of her stuff. She left him a note… very
simple. She placed the one from Samantha as well. Kimona mentioned how
beautiful Tamar was. She let him know that she loved him but this was it.
It’s too bad, it’s
too bad
It’s too bad, it’s
too bad baby
But I gotta face
reality
It’s too bad, it’s
too bad
Too bad baby, yeah
But I gotta face
reality
Today you had a
visitor
Or should I say an
old friend
But wait a minute
That’s not where it
ends no
Is there something
That you want to
tell me, hmm
Cause I’m believing what your friends say
About your hidden
secret seeds
The girlfriend
She wasn’t
disrespectful
In fact, she’s a
hundred percent sure
And how could I
argue with her
Holding a baby with
eyes like yours
She said it’s your child
And it really messed
me up
How could you deny
Your own flesh and
blood
Gotta face reality
There can never be
anymore us
More than life hurt
me
Yes so precious
She said she never,
wanted to hurt me
And could I
understand, she’s afraid and lost
She said a real
woman wouldn’t do this over the phone
And that you told
her about me after the baby was born
The girlfriend
She wasn’t
disrespectful
In fact, she’s a
hundred percent sure
And how could I
argue with her
Holding a baby with
eyes like yours
She said it’s your child
And it really messed
me up
How could you deny
Your own flesh and
blood
Gotta face reality
There can never be
anymore us
More than life hurt
me
Yes so precious
She said it’s your
child
And it really messed
me up
How could you deny
Your own flesh and
blood
Gotta face reality
There can never be
anymore us
More than life hurt
me
Yes so precious
Hmm, oh I can’t, looks just like you
How could you deny
your own flesh and blood
Your own child
What kind of man are
you?
Oh, oh the girlfriend
