Allison sat in her studio apartment. She was trying to figure out why The Best Damn Sports Show was not on. She rolled her eyes at the wrestling show that appeared before her. She pouted as she moved towards the kitchen. She caught a glance at the flowers. She smiled but it quickly faded. Wrestling took the one person that she ever loved. She sat at the piano with her pencil. She began to work on a song. She heard a familiar name. Her heart leaped several times in her chest. She turned and there he was. He was looking so handsome.

He was looking like the Jeff Hardy she knew and fell in love with. He was looking healthy. She smiled when she noticed that his tips were blue. She observed the tattoos and shook her head. She wanted to call him but she wasn’t sure how his traveling schedule was. She played her melody and tried to find the words to go with it. She glanced back at the television. She got up and walked over to the table. Allison reread the card that came with the flowers.

She was still having troubles with loving Jeff. Allison moved to her desk. She stopped to grab some photo albums. She was going to work past the problems and the issues she had. She remembers the indy shows and the broken promises. She glances at the pictures that captured the good moments. The bad ones were etched on her heart. She wanted Jeff and her to start somewhere new. But he was hell-bent on staying in Cameron. Allison stopped on a photo. It was taken in an airport. They were parting ways. He looked so…

Allison began to write. She had so many things to get over. She wanted to work through the hurt she experienced with Jeff. It crushed her when he just let her go. She heard that shortly afterwards he had another girlfriend. That she helped him to develop his drug habits. Allison sighed as she continued to write. She was looking over the words and making them work with the melody. Se wondered how Matt factored into this new thing for Jeff. There was still a WWE so what was the deal with this TNA-NWA. She knew they were at the fairgrounds. She just didn’t realize how serious of a promotion it was.

Allison moved to her piano worked her words with the melody. She sighed as she listened to Jeff talk. She moved to cut off the television. She was placing herself into a fairy tale. How could she try to go back to a time where diamond rings and roses were used to buy off her dreams? She was so blind. She wanted everyone to know Jeff was her man but what a fool that made her out to be.

Allison believed that the best thing for her was to stay in Cameron. She would write songs and play local clubs. She was so lonely. Even if she did go on the road with him, he always had appearances and so forth.  She played by all the rules but she was still burned. She shook her head. She moved to the recording studio.  She laid down the track and sighed. She listened to the playback. She made a note of things that she wanted to change. She made out the envelope to send in the lyrics to be copyrighted. She dubbed a copy of the song and put down a familiar address. She wanted to let him know what the trouble with love is…

Ooooohhh

Oooohhhh ya

Mmmmm

Love can be a many splendid thing

Has another joy you bring

A dozen roses

Diamond rings

Dreams for sale

And fairy tales

It’ll make you hear a symphony

And you’ll just want the world to see

But like a drunk that makes you blind

It’ll fool you every time

The trouble with love is

It can tear you up inside

Make your heart believe a lie

Gets stronger then your pride

The trouble with love is

It doesn’t care how fast you fall

And you can’t refuse the call

See you’ve got no say at all

Now I was just a once a fool it’s true

I played the game by all the rules

But now my world’s a deeper blue

I’m sadder but I’m wiser too

I swore I’d never love again

I swore my heart would never mend

Said love wasn’t worth the pain

But then I hear it call my name

The trouble with love is

It can tear you up inside

Make your heart believe a lie

Gets stronger then your pride

The trouble with love is

It doesn’t care how fast you fall

And you can’t refuse the call

See you’ve got no say at all

Every time I turn around

I think I’ve got it all

My heart keeps callin

And I keep on fallin

Over and over again

This set story always ends the same

Me standin in the pouring rain

It seems no matter what I do

It tears my heart in two

The trouble with love is (the trouble with love)

It can tear you up inside (it can tear you up in side)

Make your heart believe a lie (Make your heart believe a lie)

Gets stronger then your pride

(The trouble with love is) See your heart its in your soul

(It doesn’t care how fast you fall) You won’t remember self control

(And you can’t refuse the call)

See you’ve got no say at all

The trouble with love is (Oooo….ya)

It can tear you up inside

Make your heart believe a lie (the trouble with love..)
