He struggled week after week with being his lackey. He had to go on National Television on bended knee and beg him to beg him to be his tag team partner. It was only a matter of time. It would eat at him. It would be too much for him… his tolerance would dwindle. Yes he was a saved man but Jesus even got angry once. Shawn did the only thing he could. Shawn turned on Hogan. There was no other way. He had posed and played long enough. It was time for him to pay the piper and leave the dance.

Shawn continued to watch as they replayed him giving Hogan sweet chin music. He chuckled when he saw his impression of Hogan on the Larry King Live show. He was tired of hearing Hogan as he claimed to be a Legend and immortal. People were only cheering him because they were trained to follow him. Hulkamania would have died out a long time ago if Vince did not put the power machine behind it.

Shawn loved being the heel and the villain. He worked the crowd better that way. People never knew what to expect from him. Yeah, being the good guy was okay. He loved the boo’s and the jeers. He loved making silence fall over a loud cheering crowd. He would prove how he earned the name Showstopper! Hogan would not have anything on him. He had become his own made man through the help of the Lord, not man. He would not be a puppet anymore. He came back because it was his desire. He refused to bow to Hogan. He did not want to have that over his head. He just hoped Hogan was ready for him.

Shawn sat and determined that why he did not like Hogan. Everything Shawn was Hogan still is. Shawn is still in it for fanfare not for the money. He will work in the small towns night in and night out. Shawn was not only the Showstopper… he was the Main Event! He gave a slight chuckle while he stretched. The stage hand gave him the 5 minute cue and he began to walk to the ring. Shawn was out to prove one thing. Heart endures over spectacularness every time.
