Prologue

**

The camera zoomed in on the ramp as the curtain was pushed aside to focus on a pair of black chunky boots with big silver buckles as they stepped out on to the ramp to the sound of a melodic scream that chilled your bones, the sound being the wail of a woman mourning the loss of a loved one, the high-pitched scream silencing the audience of thousands.

The camera began to make its way up two red and white stockinged legs stopping mid thigh when met by the frills and fluff of a pink tutu, moving higher over a pierced bare abdomen. A black bra followed which would have been seen as enticing if not for the two cone shaped pipes that protruded off the cups.

Jet-black tresses hung loosely about thin straight shoulders and huge silver hoop earrings dangled from her lobes. Deep red lipstick the only colour that graced the powdered skin of her face, her eyes lined with thick black pencil that went all the way back to the top of her ear.

More jewellery dangled from her wrists and clinked and clattered with every step she took.

Climbing the ring steps one at a time she let her now red contacted eyes roam the arena before stepping into the ring.

Agony had arrived.

Part One

**

Cocking her head to one side Agony stared her opponent down who was now standing at the opposite ring corner with her hands on her hips.

'So…' She thought, 'It seems the Holly's little filly wanted to taste Agony's wrath.'

Feigning boredom Agony yawned not breaking there eye contact. Her hand reached up to unclasp the hoops in her ears tucking them safely into a small pouch that dangled at her waist before tossing the whole thing over the top rope.

At the roar of the crowd she sunk to her knees and slowly crawled spider like towards her opponent her tongue flicking out now and then to glide over her lips as she inched closer. The sound of the crowd now seemed distant, the referee unseen… the sound of the bell signalling the start of the match all she heard.

Rolling deftly to the side to avoid the swift kick that her opponent geared her way Agony snickered to herself bringing her foot forward to sweep under those of Molly's sending the other woman down hard on her back.

Flipping up on to her feet she stares down at the other woman the sadistic smile still on her lips as she watched the women get to her feet.

'They always kick…' She thought, 'Get down on all fours and straight away they think you’re gonna bark.'

"And I thought I was scary."

Bill Goldberg looked away from the monitor he was watching to see young Brock Lesnar and Jeff Hardy standing in the doorway of his locker room.

"You are scary," He replied waving for them to enter.

Brock laughed.

"How can I not be with you as an idol."

"Watch it sonny," Goldberg said reaching out to slap the other man upside the head. "I'm not that much older than you."

"Who is she?" Jeff asked nodding towards the match Goldberg had been watching.

"Agony." He replied.

"Scary and conflicted," Jeff raised his brow. "She should feel right at home here."

Goldberg focused his attention back on the monitor his face cringing seeing Agony lever herself up with one hand onto the shoulder of Molly swinging her leg up as she did to deliver a swinging scissor kick to the back of Molly's Head.

"And let me just add dangerous to that list." Jeff added turning to frown at his friend's lack of input to the conversation. "Earth to Goldberg… Come in Goldberg…"

"There's something about her wrestling style that seems familiar… but I can't wrap my mind around it." Goldberg remarked bringing his hand up to rub at his chin as if deep in thought.

"She wrestles good… She wrestles bloody good!" Brock exclaimed as they both watched the two women in the ring. "Damn and I thought you were the bad ass!"

Their mouths fell open at the sight of Agony jumping off the top rope to land a drop kick to the back of Molly's shoulders before crawling up to straddle her opponents back, digging her knees into Molly's upper arms while clasping both of Molly's legs to pull them up behind her. There was nothing Molly could do but tap out.

"What the hell was that?" Jeff said moving closer to the screen.

Goldberg just shrugged as he got up moving away from the monitor not wanting the younger men to see in his expression that he did indeed know what that move was. And as far as he knew there was only one man who had perfected it - The man whose career he had ended two years ago.

Part Two

**

"I'd forgo on the shower and just head straight back to the hotel, the much bigger and uglier Holly's are on the war path." Spike said as he fell into step beside her. "Your bags are already in the rental car."

"I can handle the Holly's."

"I know you can... but humour me okay. Go back to the hotel."

"Your my best friend not my brother." She said with a toss of her head.

"Exactly why you should listen to me cos 'He' would boot both of our butts without hesitation."

"Spike, I would boot your butt without hesitation."

He frowned for a minute before shrugging in acceptance.

"I know that too... but his boot actually hurts."

"So does mine," Two shadows fell over them as they rounded the last hallway that led to the car park. "In fact... my fist can cause an awful lot of hurting as well."

"I thought you said it was the Holly’s on the war path?" She said as she looked up and up and up into the eyes of Jamal and Rosie.

"Rosie and Jamal... Hardcore and Crash? What’s the difference?" He replied gallantly stepping in front of her.

"Oh... I could be off but I'd say a good 300 pounds if not more." She said pulling him back behind her, the look in her eyes telling him to stay there as she got into battle stance.

A loud cry from behind her sent her head reeling before she was pushed to the side, out of the way. Looking up she saw Spike had rushed both Jamal and Rosie head first and was now being dangled upside down by his ankles.

"Should have known you wouldn’t listen," She grumbled getting to her feet.

Waving her hand in front of her she waved for Rosie to approach her.

"Come on big guy... show me what you got..." She taunted.

"Strong words for a stick of a girl-"

"Take one more step and it'll be your last for a while." Came a low voice from behind the two men.

Jamal dropped the now red faced Spike turning to face the man who had dared interrupt there beat down only to laugh when he saw the lone man standing there. He turned back to Rosie.

"Take the step." He said.

The next thing any of them saw was Jamal getting speared distracting Rosie's approach towards Willow allowing her to roll forward and bring her boot up between the big man’s legs, smiling as she saw him keel over in pain.

Her head turned towards the man who had aided them, their eyes locking for only a moment before recognition and then hatred clouded her eyes as she lunged at him.

"Willow!" Spike leapt to his feet his arms encircling her waist as he fought to pull her off.

More people had gathered and Spike's eyes sent a look of thanks as Jeff Hardy moved forward to help him calm the irate girl in his arms.

"What's her deal?" He asked when she pulled free of his grasp. She didn’t even seem to be aware of any of them, her eyes still trained on Goldberg who was now being helped to his feet by Brock and Lilian. "From what we saw he helped her."

Willow snapped her voice a low drawn out whisper as her eyes roved over the man who still stood in the same spot a few feet away from her before turning that same glare on the man who had spoken.

"You know nothing." She hissed and then turned and stalked away from them.

"Let her go." Goldberg said when Jeff made to grab her arm again his voice low but forceful.

They all watched as Spike Dudley and the one they knew as Agony walked down the hallway and out the door.

**

"Sweetie, will you calm down."

"How can I calm down... tell me... knowing what you know about me... how can I calm down!"

"Your paths were destined to cross sooner or later, Will's. You work for the same company."

"It's just hard... to see him and want so much to... Arrrgh!" She growled bringing her hand down on the top of their rental car in frustration. "You know sometimes I wish I never came here, evil Willow so wants to make an appearance."

"But you’re not 'evil Willow' anymore." He replied knowing exactly where her thoughts were.

"No, I’m what’s left." She lowered her eyes hiding the tears that shone there as she lowered herself into the driver’s seat. 'Agony.' She added quietly to herself as she drove out of the car park.

Part Three

**

Goldberg walked into his locker room and made to shut the door behind him but failed miserably, rolling his eyes as the petite blonde barged into the room closing the door behind her, sternly dismissing the two younger men that stood out in the hallway.

"What the hell happened?"

"You’re asking me?"

"You see any other cutie in here with a shaved head?"

He knew his best friend wouldn’t let up until he spilled the beans, 'Bloody woman' He thought to himself not knowing that his expression gave his thoughts away.

"I heard that!" She said planting her hands on her hips and sending him a glare before she continued. "I thought we agreed that you would take it slow, work yourself in with the flow of things around here... not jump in head first."

"Lil, I was just walking and stumbled on a lady in trouble." He said stuffing his gear into his gym bag. "End of story."

"Honey, she was ready to kill you!" She shrugged in exasperation when he didn’t reply. "You’re my oldest and dearest friend, its okay to ask for help."

"Been watching afternoon school specials again?" He asked patting her head like a father would his child.

"Moi?" She replied feigning aristocratic maturity before singing the first few lines to the 'Play School' theme.

He glared at her and Lilian glared right back, all the resolve she could muster in her eyes and he knew this was one battle she aimed to win.

"Come to my room tonight, I'll explain everything then." He grumbled turning back to his gym bag.

She eyed him warily and he knew she was deciding wether to let it lay till tonight or push on with it. He physically relaxed when she decided on the former throwing his bag over his shoulder with one hand whilst reaching for hers.

Jeff and Brock were still standing around outside his locker room when they emerged.

"Thanks for being there earlier," He said to the two younger men.

"Ah... you could've taken them," Jeff scoffed playfully punching his shoulder.

"We just wanted to make sure everything was okay." Brock said standing up a little straighter from where he leaned against the wall. "That girl was a real spitfire."

Goldberg lowered his eyes which went unmissed by his best friend.

"I'm sure she has her reasons," He said with a shrug ending the conversation before it could start. "We'll see you guys back at the hotel."

"Bye guys," Lilian just managed to get out before Goldberg propelled her down the hallway only releasing her once they were out in the car park. "Real smooth, Goldie."

"Shut up."

Not even the screech of wheels on asphalt as he drove out of the car park could drown out the sound of his friend's mocking laughter.

**

Part Four

**

Lilian watched her friend pace the hotel room like a caged animal, she had known something was up the first time she had seen his reaction to the newest diva's wrestling style. He was guarded and broody not even wanting to confide in her, and she was his best friend!

But now that they had come face to face with the obviously troubled girl there was no way she was gonna let him off the hook this time. That little psycho had hurled herself at him and 'He' had come to her rescue! She'd hate to think what she would actually do to someone she hated...

"Okay... I'm here, your here... time to let me in on what’s going on in that bald head of yours." She said emphasising her words by reaching up on her tippee-toes letting her tiny fist rap against the top of his forehead.

"Agony..." He said with a shrug.

"Well hello, I know that already." She slapped him on the arm before pulling him over to the couch. "Sit."

He looked down at her as he sat glad they weren’t out in public. He would never live this down if the other guys in the roster saw how easy this little speck of a woman could order him around.

"What is it about her sweetie? How do you know her?"

"I don’t really," He sighed rubbing at his eyes.

"Huh?"

"Back in my WCW days... my feud with the ‘Brothers of Pain'... there was an accident... someone died..."

"Yes I remember there was a big write up about it in all the news papers and sports magazines... not to mention the fan-fiction craze that swept over the internet!" Her eyes bulged as the memories came flooding back. "But I don’t get it... that wasn’t your fault... a lot of people saw what happened. Even Sting and Raven didn’t blame you... they all knew the risks."

He lowered his eyes in thought but it didn’t stay down long as his head snapped up.

"I didn’t know you read fan-fiction?"

"Oh all the time and don’t change the subject." She poked him in the ribs for good measure before waving for him to continue his story. "What's all this got to do with Agony?"

He stood to go stand at the door to the balcony and stared out at the lights that filled the night sky.

"I didn’t know this... I don’t think anyone on the roster did at the time, but at the funeral I found out that the 'Brothers of Pain' had a sister."

Realisation showed clearly on Lilian's features.

"Agony?"

"Agony."

"Are you sure it's her?"

Goldberg closed his eyes remembering the way Willow had looked at him at the funeral and the way Agony had looked at him tonight and replied.

"I'm sure."

Part Five

**

She lay awake on top of her bed not being able to sleep after her little bout with the one man she hated more than anything in this world. She had always thought nothing could compare with the feelings she had felt towards Warren but that was nothing compared with the thoughts that entered her head at the mere mention of 'His' name, towards him she felt nothing but pure hate in its simplest form.

Closing her eyes she concentrated on that hate, willing her body into a state of unconsciousness while her inner self flowed up and out of her body spiralling up and out the open window, the lace curtains billowing out with the breeze.

She found herself back in Sunnydale walking through the woods, the scent of a chase in air and her smile grew sinister as she spotted the lone man scrambling through the tree's ahead of her.

Watched as he clawed his way through the thicket up and over rocks in his attempt to escape her, his clothes were covered in dirt and blood, his eyes filled with fear... that alone fuelling her desire to see his hurt as she hurt.

Sweat poured off his brow leaving glistening trails running down the side of his face and neck disappearing down the collar of his shirt soaking it.

Closing her eyes she inhaled deeply the smell of fear that was rampant in the air warming her bones. She gasped as she felt a sharp pain in her back then smiled as she reached behind her to pull out the axe that was embedded there.

"Run all night, Warren... I'll still find you."

Willow continued on through the woods sighing as she began to tire of the chase and with a click of her fingers he appeared before her causing him to rear back in fright holding his hands up in front of him as he pleaded for his life.

"Did you give the one you killed time to plea?" She sneered back at him the need for revenge so thick she could almost touch it.

She watched as he took a step away from her his back coming up flush against the trunk of a tree.

"Willow please..." He begged.

"I am not Willow... I am what you made me, say hello to Agony."

Warren’s voice turned raspy and deep as his face contorted into that of the man she had come face to face with tonight.

Seeing his face in the place Warren’s had occupied for so long brought a whole new meaning to the word loathing...

A look of contentment showed on Willow’s features as she slept... and the smile that spread across her face stayed there till morning.

Part Six

**

"Dude you look like shit!"

"Lick me, maybe I taste like shit too." Goldberg grumbled as he passed Rob in the hallway.

"Not a happy camper today." He chuckled shortening his step to bring him beside the prettier of his two friends who followed at a slower gait.

"He didn’t get much sleep last night, tossed and turned like no tomorrow then got up grumpier then when he went to bed." Lilian exclaimed obviously having already been on the receiving end of Goldberg's bad mood.

"All superstars have their off days," Rob said trying to make light of the situation.

"True enough... I just feel like I'm rooming with a grizzly bear with a bee in his jocks."

Rob cringed.

"Thank you very much for that mental image."

Lilian smiled.

"Gee... I’m feeling better already."

"Well will you look at that," Rob mused, Lilian turned following his line of sight down to the hallway. "Looks like someone had a good night, is that a smile I see on the face of the Spike's little friend?"

"Agony."

"Huh?"

"Her name's Agony."

"Whatever..."

Lilian looked back at her friend who seemed to be in a daze.

"Rob?" She waved her hand in front of his face.

"Hmmm?"

"Close your mouth."

"Oh..." He quickly snapped it shut as Spike and Agony walked by them to disappear into their locker room. "She's quite pretty when her face isn’t all twisted in a scowl."

Lilian started walking again sighing heavily when she caught sight of Goldberg standing in the doorway of their locker room apparently having seen the little happy fest take place between Spike and Agony as well. His grumpy countenance gone replaced by something else, something she didn’t think she would ever see on his tough facial exterior... regret.

"This is my stop," Rob said pointing to the locker room door which he shared with Edge, Christian and Jericho. "See you down ringside."

Lilian smiled back at him offering him a small wave in response before entering the locker room she shared with Goldberg. She found him seated on the bench wrapping tape around his wrists, his grumpy persona back in place.

With a sigh she decided to leave him alone instead turning towards the little mirror and table that had been set up for her, seating herself before pulling out her make up case.

**

"What's got you all full of hugs and smiles this morning?"

"Do I need a reason?" Willow said shooting him a smile over her shoulder as she leaned over her bag rummaging around for some gum.

Spike sat down on the bench next to her bag.

"Well considering you were all 'Rough and tumble Willow' yesterday... I would say YES."

She couldn’t help but smile at his usage of words, he reminded her so much of Xander and her school days back in Sunnydale.

'Gee, it seems like a life time ago.' She thought.

"So, fess up! What's got your mood like sixty degree's towards the happy signal?"

Willow's faced brightened as her fingers wrapped around the gum that was of course all the way at the bottom of the mess that was her bag.

"I just had a good night's sleep last night is all... even had a pleasant dream."

"Oh really... tell me... was I in this dream?"

She shook her head a teasing smile playing on her lips.

"Was nakedness involved?"

"Nah-ah."

"Then it wasn't a sex orientated dream?"

"Nope."

"Then I don’t wanna know about it."

**

Part Seven

**

The sound of wails filled the arena and the crowd cheered knowing that any minute now Agony would make her way toward the ring. She had fast become a crowd favourite having stuck it to Bishoff her first day here gaining popularity status with the fan's but with an added downside of having Eric Bishoff as an enemy.

"Wake up man, you playing or not."

Goldberg was hailed from his thoughts by a hand swiping at the upside of his head, sending a glare to a grinning Bradshaw as he threw his cards down.

"I fold."

"Well you’re no fun," Bradshaw complained as he gathered the cards up getting ready to deal out another hand to those who remained seated at his make shift table.

Goldberg shifted his chair closer to the monitor to watch Agony's match against Victoria winching every time Victoria got a shot in.

"Looks like someone's been doing their homework," Jeff said as he and Brock took the empty seats next to him. "She's countered all of Agony's moves."

"Let’s not forget that the only reason she has been able to counter all of Agony's moves is because of that dick weed boyfriend of Victoria's." Brock said pointing to a man standing at ringside in a pair of pink trunks.

Goldberg growled inwardly at the thought of that man and his interfering ways. "She can hold her own."

"Famous last words bro..." Rob said as he joined them in front of the monitor. "Ah... it’s the conflicted one..." His face physically brightened at seeing Agony on the screen causing Goldberg to scowl. "...Oh and the crazed one." He added sourly when he saw who her opponent was.

Goldberg's eye brows creased as all three men seated with him cheered when Agony flew off the top rope crashing into both Victoria and Stevie Richards on the outside of the ring rolling up to her feet before yanking Victoria up by the hair to toss her back into the ring. She was about to slide back in when she felt someone tug on her ankle pulling her back out with such force that her head hit the floor before the rest of her body.

"Now that had to hurt," Brock claimed as he slapped a hand over his forehead.

"For sure," Jeff agreed his eyes glued to the screen.

Rob just nodded his head in agreement as he continued to watch.

"What do you think, Goldberg?" He asked turning away from the screen when he heard no reply, only to be met with an empty chair.

**

Agony felt dazed as she lay on the mat mentally trying to snap out of it knowing she only had a few seconds before another blow would come her way... And it came in the form of boots to her back and shoulders the roars of the crowd all she heard as she continued to take his massive blows.

"Damn pink leotard loving jerk off." She mumbled as she tried to numb her mind to the pain and it seemed to be working because she felt nothing now.

Opening her eyes she saw why... 'HE' was there going at it pound for pound with Stevie Richards taking the man's focus off her.

'What the hell is he doing helping her... he wasn’t supposed to help her... she hated him.'

Getting to her feet she stood with her hands on her hips and watched as they battled it out till she felt someone’s hand in her hair yanking her up.

'Damn! She had forgotten about Victoria.'

The other girl brought her through the ropes and threw her by the hair into the turn buckle.

'So... the jerk off's bitch wanted to play hard ball.' She thought as she spun around and kicked out with all her strength sending the other woman down before climbing on top of her as she lay on her stomach grabbing both her legs to pull them up and back, her signature move.

The bell going off signalled she had won the match brought her to her feet while the referee bent down to check on the still writhing form of Victoria on the mat.

Agony watched as Stevie reached through the ropes to pull his girl friend out before helping her back up the ramp and through the curtain before her eyes fell on the man who had come out to help her.

No words were said... no words were offered... the only thing either of them heard was the roar of the crowd as he turned on his heel and disappeared through the curtain.

**

Part Eight

**

It was a tempestuous Agony that stormed through the arena after her match, the scalding hot shower doing naught to ease her temper if anything all it had done was make her skin glow from the heat. Now it looked like she had been caught with her hand in the cookie jar because she had all over blush.

"Agony! A moment of your time!"

'Great' She thought as Michael Cole hurried towards her an ever present cameraman at his side. 'Now the whole world was going to see 'Agony the beetroot.'

"Congratulations on your win tonight,"

"Thanks." She managed to grunt out in reply. 'Greaser.'

"Now Agony... the question in everyone's mind... why did Goldberg come out to help you?"

"Ask him." She shrugged speaking into the microphone that was shoved in front of her face.

"Easier said than done-"

"You bitch! You skank!"

Both Agony and Michael Cole turned to see Victoria and Stevie walking down the hallway towards them.

'As if this night couldn’t get any better...'

"Next week we meet again... a match has already been made." Victoria sneered down at her, the crazed look she had erected for the fans now gone replaced by sheer hatred in it's purest form.

Michael Cole motioned for the camera to keep rolling as Agony stepped toward the older woman not daunted by her height advantage or the fact that her boy friend was standing right there. The two women just simply stared at each other deep dark pools boring into hazy green both daring the other to back down.

"Okay, save it for the ring you two." The voice of the Co-GM boomed through the hall as he came to stand between the two women.

Michael Cole sighed heavily raising his eyes heavenward in thanks for Stone Cold Steve Austin's interference, like he'd be much help to Agony if Stevie had decided to join in the battle of wills between Agony and Victoria.

"Next week." Victoria whispered her deranged look overcoming her features as she smiled down at the other girl.

Willow nodded once in response before her foe and her foe's bitch turned to head back down the way they had come.

"Oh... one more thing..." Austin called down the hallway after them. "Your match next week... it's an inter-gender tag team match, you and your boy there against Agony and Goldberg." He smiled at the panicky expression that came to Stevie Richards face.

'Serve's you right sum bitch.' He thought as the couple rounded a corner.

"And your still here because?" He added turning his attention towards Michael Cole.

"Because-"

"What!"

"Well-"

"What!"

"Leaving."

"Best thing you've said all day." Austin chuckled as he watched them go.

Willow on the other hand was livid! The slight reddish hue to her skin caused by her hot shower gone, the blood that boiled inside of her taking its place.

"Now don’t look at me like that little one... If'n you be wantin' answers, I suggest you look a little closer to home."

Willow's brows creased at his words but he offered no more explanation than that before turning to make his way down the hallway, leaving her there to ponder over his words.

'Home?' She inwardly repeated to herself before letting out an uttered groan as realisation dawned on her.

"Oh, he was so going to get it."

**

Part Nine

**

"What the hell was that?" Lilian demanded as she stormed through the open door of his hotel room.

Goldberg did his best impersonation of the people's eyebrow before looking down at his dinner.

"Well, it's suppose to be pepperoni pizza... what's it look like to you?"

"Don’t play smart arse with me, iceberg... What did I tell you about laying low? Now not only do you have Rosie and Jamal after that bulky tush of yours but now you've managed to get yourself embroiled into an inter-gender match with Agony... who might I add HATES YOUR GUTTS!"

"Lil... look at me... how is someone my size and my height supposed to lay low? I'm in now I may as well work up an enemy list." He sent her his best 'You know I'm right' smile and watched as she caved moving forward to slap him playfully on the arm before leaning forward to place a light kiss on the top of his head.

"You know one of these days that smile isn’t gonna work on me... then what are you going to do hmmm?" She asked rubbing on the smudge her lipstick made on his bald head.

"I'll deal with that when and if the time comes... now did you come here to eat or talk."

"Both," She smiled prettily at him. "…being of the female human species I, like all others of my kind... were blessed with the skill of multi-tasking."

"That’s not all they were blessed with..." He grumbled under his breath.

"Excuse me?"

"Pizza?" He asked offering her a slice.

She took the proffered slice leaning back in her chair as she stared at him.

He looked at her as he started eating chewing vigorously on his slice trying not to let her inquisitive look get to him.

"Stop it." He finally grumbled giving in only after a few minutes.

"What?" Came her innocent reply.

"You know what."

"I'm just looking..."

"Lil..."

"Okay fine... if you don’t want to talk about it... I will." She waited expecting him to protest again but instead he lowered his head once again munching on his pizza. "I think you like her."

"Who?"

Lilian rolled her eyes.

"Who? Whom? Agony that’s who."

Now it was his turn to roll his eyes.

"Don’t make me laugh... it was a momentary weakness because I knew Spike wasn’t at the arena. I mean come on Lil, who else would've went out there?"

"Rob, Taker, Kane, Al... shall I continue?"

"Like you’re gonna let me stop you," He grumbled.

"I heard that." She stated before continuing. "It's okay to like someone Bill... even if she's a little too much like the character she portrays."

He pushed his plate away from him unfinished.

"She hates me."

Moving to sit beside him on the couch she rested her head against his shoulder.

"When we first met I hated you too."

He smiled at that.

"Yeah... you were a real hellion. Now your just hell."

"Hey!"

He chuckled at her petulant look.

"My point is... sometimes you have to look under the layers to find the man hiding behind the mask. I see him... and soon... so will she."

He turned to look at her before pulling her into a hug.

"How did you get so wise?" He mumbled into her shoulder.

"Oh..." She felt the laughter rumbling in his chest. "…just another blessing bestowed upon the females of our species."

**

Part Ten

**

"I can’t stand the man! How the hell am I gonna manage with him as a partner!"

"Will you just calm down-"

"I AM CALM!"

Sting winched covering his ears with his hands.

"Okay... let’s try that again..." He turned to the man chuckling across from him who looked up from the book he was reading with interest. "A little help here would be appreciated."

"Hey... she's your sister..." He replied easily.

"She's your sister too... besides she takes more after you with all the red hair and love for all things dusty..."

"I am still in the room you know?" She piped in waving her arms in front of their faces.

Raven's eyebrows creased.

"Did you hear something?"

"Oh funny guys... I have a situation here, a very serious situation that I don’t like cause it makes me feel all woozy and nauseous and..."

"...and makes you think about things you would rather not think about like say..."

"...dead people."

"God it's creepy when you guys do that!" Spike shuddered a chill going down his spine.

"Do what?" Willow looked over at her friend as he sat with his nose buried in Shakespeare's - A Midsummer Nights Dream.

"That chop and change thing you all got going on, its like you guys send each other little messages telepathically telling the other what to say and when to say it... it's scary." He shuddered again for good measure.

Willow just looked at her brothers and shrugged bringing a hand up to twirl her finger at the top of her ear before mouthing the word 'Loco' to her brothers.

"Can we get back to my problem please? Why did you do it?" She turned back to her oldest brother sitting down in front of him so he would have to meet her gaze.

"Because I thought it would be a good thing."

"A good thing how?"

"He's in a position to protect you where we are not."

"Oh crap!"

"Willow..."

"I can take care of myself... for god's sake you saw to it that I could take care of myself... the three of you taught me everything I know!"

"We didn’t teach you to hate Willow."

God she hated it when he went all righteous on her.

"No... I have someone else to thank for that."

"Which is why I called in a favour from my old buddy Stone Cold, now you have a chance to harness that hatred, maybe not get past it as yet... but its a start Will's..." He leaned forward in his seat taking her face between his hands. "You can’t go on like this forever."

"Sting, your my brother and I love you... it's just I'm trying to see things your way, but I can’t get my head up my butt."

Spike choked on his coffee sending a spray of hot dark liquid flying across the table igniting a muffled cry from around the table as all three siblings got sprayed.

"Ooops." He said before racing out of the room the hot tempered of the three, Raven, on his heels.

Willow got up to grab a towel laughing to herself as she wiped the coffee from her shirt before looking up to see her oldest brothers eyes still thoughtful as he stared at her.

"What?"

"Just some parting words of wisdom little sis, getting your head up your butt isn’t the problem... it's getting it out."

Part Eleven

**

"You have to go out there and help him!"

"I don’t 'have' to go out there and do a damn thing." Willow leaned back in her chair slurping on her cherry flavoured slurpie and watched as Goldberg got his ass kicked repeatedly by Kurt Angle and his two lackeys.

"Willow, it's expected... you know he scratched your back now you scratch his? For god's sake your going to be partnered with him next week- God damn!"

"What?"

"I spilt my slurpie..." He replied shaking his hands free of the concoction of crushed ice and flavouring.

"No one told him to scratch my back." Willow shrugged continuing their little debate.

"Exactly why you should go out there."

"I don’t see your logic..."

"To be honest neither do I..." Spike walked into the small bathroom and returned a few minutes later with a towel.  "But that’s beside the point- Willow? Willow?" He stood staring at the empty room.

'I should be use to this' He thought as he wiped up the rest of the spilt slurpie, chucking the soiled towel in a corner he sat down in the seat Willow had vacated to watch the screen.

"Oh... yummy..." He smiled picking up Willow's forgotten slurpie. "Finders keepers."

Goldberg had expected his match against Angle to be a one on three match and had even considered the interference of Victoria and Stevie after he had come down during her match with Agony... but what he hadn’t been prepared for was the flying mass of black that came shooting at them from off the top rope.

He didn’t know how she did it but she had angled her body just right knocking both of Angle's lackeys over the top rope and out onto the concrete floor giving him an opening to spear Kurt which he took leaving the man a quivering mess in the corner of the ring.

He turned expecting to find Stevie Richards behind him but instead he was met with both the crazed duo's bodies laid out in a heap at the opposite corner.

'What the hell?' He spun a few times in the centre of the ring but all his eyes met with were Angle's two lackeys helping the Olympic jackass up the ramp.

"Looking for me?"

He spun again this time finding Agony standing behind him, her expression defacing the amusement he saw in her eyes and he found himself wishing that he could unlock the laughter she hid so well in his presence.

His eyes followed hers as she circled him inside the ring, his mind going one hundred miles in hour trying to rack his brain for something to say to her that wouldn't send her flying his way with 'Hurt him' radiating from her limbs.

The crowd cheered their approval as he slowly extended his hand out to her in a show of friendship metaphorically offering an olive branch. She looked from his face to his hand then back up to his face again but before she could even open her mouth or 'Heaven forbid extend her own hand in acceptance' music came streaming through the speakers and the crowd booed and chanted arsehole... they both turned to see Eric Bischoff making his way down to the ring with his ever present muscle looming up behind him.

Instinctively Goldberg stepped closer to Agony pushing her behind his enormous frame.

"And when did you become batman?" She asked stepping out from behind him and planting her hands on her hips as she glared at the man who now entered the ring. "Oh look... its booboomagoo."

"Always a pleasure to see you too, Agony my sweet," Eric replied as he stood facing them with his arms wrapped around what looked like a brochure or calendar holding on to it as if his life depended on it. "I was just sitting in my office leafing through the various items I get to leaf through being Co-GM and all that..." His grin broadened and he started to pace confidently back and forth before them.

"And well something just happened to catch my attention... something I felt this an opportune time to share with everyone seeing as you were already down here coming to the aid of your buff stud muffin there..." He motioned to the glaring hulk of mass next to her. "…which by the way was so sweet I could cry buckets into next week..."

He laughed at his own joke as he casually flicked through the pages of what he held in his hands, Willow too caught up in keeping Jamal and Rosie in her line of sight to notice the Sunnydale High prospectus blazoned on the cover until he had opened it releasing the centrefold picture of her taken when she had won Sunnydale’s very own 'Most likely to achieve before they were 25' award.

Even from where she stood she could still see in the picture the proud face of Vampiro standing in the crowd behind her as the picture was taken. That had been the last time she had seen her brother before his accident...

'Accident' He had died and yes it had been an accident... she needed someone to hate back then... needed someone to blame... someone to direct all her hurt and anger at Piro being taken from her. She didn’t concern herself with the taunts that were coming from the man in front of her about fuzzy sweaters, floral skirts and 'Nerdy Willow' in her mind all she saw was Piro.

She didn’t know what happened next only knowing that she was being pulled out of the ring and carried back up the ramp vaguely remembering seeing Spike, Bubba and D-von running down the ramp minutes before.

'Spike,' She thought leaning her head more into his shoulder, her arms reaching up to circle his neck reeling at the feeling of anger traced with something else that radiated from his aura... her mind too much in a whirl to fully comprehend what that feeling was.

Her eyes fluttered open her gaze seeking and finding the happenings back down at ringside... she saw D-von duking it out with Rosie, Bubba pounding on Jamal and Spike bull dogging Bischoff...

'Spike bull dogging Bischoff?' Eyebrows drawn she raised her head and the last thing she saw was the intense blue depths of Goldberg's gaze before she passed out.

AN: "Denotes words spoken"

    'Denotes thoughts'

    **Denotes promo's**

    //Denotes dream state//

//Willow moaned trying to find comfort on the soft cold ground beneath her but slowly the cold began to creep through her clothes robbing her body of its warmth. She shivered before opening her eyes having to take a moment for her eyes to adjust to the light, squinting out at what floated gently down from the sky to lay around her, under her...

'This cant be right...' She thought standing shakily to her feet hearing the snow crunch beneath the weight of her body as she neared the cliff's edge to look out at the expanse of white covered land that went on as far as the eye could see.

"Willow..."

She turned to see her brother standing a few feet away from her, his face as white as the snow that fell around them.

"Piro..."

"It's time to forgive, Willow... let go of the hate..."

"I don’t know if I can..." Tears forms and fell from her eyes only to turn to ice on her cheeks. "Why does my heart weep?"

"It longs for what it's lost..."

"I lost you."

"No, Willow... I will always be with you, what you lost is far more important..."

"No... What can be more important then you?"

"Love."

He reached out then and Willow closed her eyes at the soft cold touch of his hand as it grazed her cheek. "It's time to forgive... it's time to live..."//

"Willow... Willow come back to me..."

"Piro?" He heard her whisper, that one name tearing at his heart, that one name the only thing keeping what had happened two years ago alive and breathing between them.

"No Willow... not Piro..."

Willow opened her eyes and looked into the deep blue of Goldberg's, in his gaze she saw all the pain and the emotional scars he carried... seeing for the first time how that one night two years ago had not only changed her life but his as well... and for the second time that night Goldberg learnt to expect the unexpected when it came to Willow, when she smiled.

Epilogue

**

"From Atlanta, Georgia weighing in at 283pounds Goldberg and his tag team partner tonight from Sunnydale, California... Agony!"

"Here they come JR!" The King Jerry Lawler shrieked his eyes alight with excitement as the cheers from the crowd threatened to blow the roof off the arena as Goldberg and Agony walked down the ramp hand in hand.

"Yes, people... this past week has been very surreal for lack of a better word with the newly found bond between Goldberg and Agony... sources tell us the duo have been inseparable and I've just been told we have footage of an interview the coach had with Goldberg's best friend Lilian Garcia and Agony's best friend Spike Dudley so lets take you back to that footage right now."

**"Lilian can you shed any light on what’s happening between Goldberg and Agony?"

"What’s happening between them... well only they know for sure but I can tell you this." She faced the camera. "I have never seen Goldberg as happy as he is with Agony."

The crowd roared in approval.

"And you Spike... what are your thoughts?"

"My thoughts coach are that Agony will have to change her name soon cos the amount of time she smiles now... there aint no way she's in agony."

The Coach chuckled as he watched the pair walk off together.

"Well you heard it right here folks. This is the Coach, back to you JR."**

"And there you indeed have it people... whether it be love, lust or part of something bigger... who really knows other then those two standing in the ring right now."

Somewhere above a lone figure stood watching... and smiled as he was swept up in a beam of light.
