"Randy?" She whispered, cautiously making her way down the dark hallway. She couldn't stop the rush of fear that crept up her back or the small squeal that escaped her lips as she felt a hand brush hers.
 
"Shhh... it's me."
 
She smiled at the sound of his voice, her fear slowly dissipating as his hand traced tiny circles at the small of her back. 
 
"Hiya."
 
"Hey." He returned her smile with one of his own. "I thought you weren't going to come." He continued pulling her back into the shadow's with him. "I thought maybe the note I left had been intercepted or maybe you just didn't want to see me-" 
 
She silenced him with a finger at his lips. 
 
"No one. Not even my sister would have kept me from coming here." 
 
"You didn't tell anyone where you were going right?"
 
"No, I snuck away when Evolution interrupted Buffy and Willow's promo, just like your note had stated."
 
His lips found hers. "You have no idea how much that pleases me."
 
"Oh," She smiled running her finger down his chest. "I think I do."
 
"No, Dawn," He said, his voice turned raspy to her ear's and the warm smooth finger's that were welcoming before now dug painfully into her arms. His tongue snaked out to lap at her neck and a fear of a different kind rose up inside her as she lifted her gaze to meet his now yellow demon like eyes. "I don’t think you do."
