Summary: Stacy has ended things with Dave unexpectedly. Will he

discover Stacy's reason or continue to be left in the dark?

Chapters/Parts: 1

Dave Bautista heaves a sigh as he sat in a lonely locker room staring

down at his brand new World Championship Belt. It hadn't been long

ago since he had won that. But honestly, it didn't mean a goddamn

thing to him and the way he allows it to tumble to the floor beneath

shows it. He gradually buries his face between his hands and weeps

silently. Dave missed her so much and it hurt that she had ended

things so sudden. Why? The big man had not a clue and someday he

hoped to learn that.

Dave wipes at his eyes before retrieving his title from below and

than departing from his chair to leave the now unoccupied space. He

instantly turns his head toward the sound of his name. He smiles at

the prospects of Randy Orton as he closes the door behind him. "Hey

you. Sorry about your match with Mark. I really thought you had that

won," Dave chuckles. Randy just rolls his eyes and speaks, "Rub it in

why don't you." Bautista continues to express amusement as the young

brunette rested himself against the wall nearby. Randy bent some to

place both hands upon his kneecaps before taking a deep breath and

standing back straight than resting one palm upon his left shoulder.

Dave frowns in concern as he asked, "You okay, man?"

Randy winces some ahead of responding, "Just my shoulder got messed

up that's all. Damn." The 25-year-old turns and uses his right hand

to lightly punch at the slate behind him. "I knew it was a matter of

time I would have to sit out wrestling and get this operated on. I

hate this too because I want so bad to be able to wrestle," Randy

complains.

Dave sighs, "Well it's better to get it taken care of than taking the

risk of your career being over, don't you think, Orton?"

Randy hated to be wrong, but he doesn't hesitate to nod, "Yeah you're

right. I'm too young for retirement. So I have to live with missing

you guys and neglect being in the ring if I want to be 100% again."

Dave smiles as he pats Randy lightly on the back. "See you're smart

after all." Dave than sighs before articulating, "Look I'm going to

the hotel. I'm very tired."

Randy immediately could see a lot pain behind the big man's eyes as

he stared into them. Dave saw that Orton was about to ask. Bautista

beats him to it by shaking his head and holding up one hand, "Please,

bro. I can't bear to talk about `that' right now." Randy placed a

hand upon Dave's shoulder and speaks softly, "Whenever you are, I'll

be here to listen." Bautista gave the 25-year-old brunette a small

smile, "Thanks. I'll remember that."

Randy observes as Dave walked down the hall but than unexpectedly

turns toward a soft feminine touch that now rested upon his right

shoulder. Randy placed a hand to her face to wipe at the tears that

caressed her left cheek and faintly questions, "Stacy? What's the

matter?"

She looks downward before speaking earnestly, "I never meant to hurt

him [Dave]. I just need some space enough to figure out some things."

The young blonde shifted her eyes from the floor to Randy's and

articulates, "I still love him so very much with all of my heart.

There's just something I can't bear to let him know. Not now. Maybe

not ever."

Orton's eyes narrow in confusion. He was about to pose but Stacy

breaking down into her hands interrupted him. Instead the 6' 4

brunette wraps his arms around the slim blonde for comfort. "Shush.

It's okay, sweetie. You'll understand whatever's troubling you soon.

I'm sure you will do just fine. Listen, why don't I drive you back to

the hotel." Stacy pulls away and opposed, "Thanks anyway, but I'm

going to stick around the arena for a bit longer." Randy stares at

her for a moment and than nods, "Okay. If that's what you want to do.

I respect that. I'd like to stay with you but I can't. Are you sure

that you'll be alright?" Stacy gives him a smile filled with

assurance, "Yes." Randy returns it and quickly speaks, "Good." The

young blonde watched as "The Legend Killer" departs down the

corridor. Maybe she would have to use Randy's shoulder to cry on

cause being around Dave wasn't a good idea right now. Stacy was so

glad she could count on Randy to be there for her. She would need his

friendship more than ever through these excruciating moments.

In seconds, she sighs before bringing one hand to rest on her

forehead. Her eyes slowly fall down and they connect with her

stomach. She then observes as her arms come together to shield her

abdominal. Stacy could not bear to let Dave know that she was

pregnant with another man's baby. Even though it was a drunken

mistake. She knew how much it would rip him into. That was the last

thing Stacy wanted. How in the hell would she figure herself out of

this mess?

Summary: Stacy has ended things with Dave unexpectedly. Will he

discover Stacy's reason or continue to be left in the dark?

Chapters/Parts: 2

Dave gradually drags his tired feet down the long corridor toward his

hotel room. In minutes, he will be beneath the covers sleeping and

most likely dreaming about Stacy. He heaves a sigh before sliding the

key card and then opening the door to the arms of loneliness. He

instantly loosens the tie around his neck ahead of trailing over to

the nightstand and turning on the small radio clock. In seconds, a

melody from George Harrison sounds.

- Something in the way she moves

Attracts me like no other lover

Something in the way she woos me

I don't want to leave her now

You know I believe and how -

Bautista winces slightly at the music, but allows it to play anyways.

It was one of Stacy's favorite Beatles songs and he remembered her

always singing to this particular piece. He does manage to smile some

at the memory. She has such a beautiful voice and Dave always enjoyed

listening to her. Stacy always claimed that she couldn't sing, but

the brunette beast knew better. Dave sighs once more before strolling

to the small hotel kitchen to retrieve a glass of Burgundy. That tune

still fills the room as he does so.

- Somewhere in her smile she knows

That I don't need no other lover

Something in her style that shows me

I don't want to leave her now

You know I believe and how -

Dave delicately sips his goblet of wine as he walked to stare out the

window. The moon is bright, full and exquisite. It would be so

wonderful to share this display with Stacy. At that thought, Bautista

lowers his eyes away from the dazzling sphere in the sky as a tear

slips down his right cheek. He was so lonely and his heart was

missing her. He doesn't get why she had to end things so abrupt. Dave

wonders if he'll ever get an answer because he hasn't seen her since

last Monday. What the hell is her problem? Why is it taking her so

long to get back to him with a simple explanation? Dave hoped that

she'd come forward soon so he could move on with his life. He found

himself wincing more as George Harrison continued to sing in the

background.

- You're asking me will my love grow

I don't know, I don't know

You stick around now it may show

I don't know, I don't know -

Bautista strolls back over to the nightstand. He had thoughts of

switching off that crazy sound, but he persists for it to play until

the last note. He sits down carefully on the edge of the bed before

swinging his feet up onto the furniture and he rests himself against

the headboard. He rotates his head and looks down at the "singing"

clock beside him. "Please no more, George," Bautista begged out

loud. `I don't think I can take much more,' the big man thought to

himself as he stares up at the ceiling. He only grows impatience when

the song remains.

- Something in the way she knows

And all I have to do is think of her

Something in the things she shows me

I don't want to leave her now

You know I believe and how -

When Dave realizes that song was finally over. He closes his eyes in

relief and this time deactivates the small clock radio. For some

strange reason, he felt a bit better after hearing that diminutive

harmony, but still felt miserable even though. He had never

experienced with those sorts of feelings before until now. They were

so hard to control and so hard to understand, but in time Dave

assumes he'll learn all of that. Because life is a never-ending

roller coaster and you ascertain new things each day. Dave will have

to live without Stacy being apart of his, but can he without going

crazy? Only time will tell.

---------------------------------------------

"No I haven't told him, yet. I will though don't worry. I just know

what Dave will do especially once he finds out that I slept with you

of all people." Stacy gasps lightly when she hears Trish's voice

within the room. The slim blonde quickly speaks into her cell, "Look

someone's here. I'll talk to you some other time or better yet meet

me at the arena early tomorrow…just meet me there, okay. He won't

know a thing. Not so far anyways." Stacy closes her cell phone and

puts it away in her purse.

Trish laughs softly, "Hey you didn't have to hang up because of

little ole me. I'm not going to be here long anyways. Chris and I are

going out to the local club. You wanna come?"

Stacy hesitates before answering, "That all seems fun, but no I'm not

feeling much up to that. I just need some space for right now."

Trish frowns some, "Are you okay, girlie? Do you want me to stay in

the room with you? Because I can call Chris and cancel our plans,

it's no big deal. Just let me know."

Stacy shakes her head immediately, "No. Please don't ruin a good time

for me. You go. Have fun with Chris and we'll talk when you return."

Trish crossed her arms and looked to Stacy for some sort of lie. She

knew the slim blonde good enough to know Stacy tends to keep things

to herself, "Something is wrong."

"Nothing is wrong, Trish. I'm fine, honestly. Would go please? Chris

is bound to be waiting for you downstairs," Stacy articulates in a

sharp pitch.

Trish inwardly grew confused at her friend's tone. It sounded as if

she was in a rush for her to leave. Why? Trish hadn't a clue. Stacy

was keeping something from her and Trish will find out one way or

another. After hearing Stacy's comment, Trish dropped her arms in

frustration and than raises her hands in front of her, "Okay, Stac be

that way. Just be careful of who snap at because I'll be more than

glad to Chick Kick some fucking sense into you. For the past few days

you've been like this and why I haven't the slightest idea." Trish

calms down instantly and speaks softly, "Just remember if you need to

talk I'm here for you. Don't shut me out, Stac."

Stacy placed one hand to her trembling lips and speaks in tears, "I

just need time that's all."

The Canadian blonde looked at her companion for a long time and than

lightly snaps at her gums before nodding her head, "Okay. I'll go to

that club with Irvine but you and me, girl are talking sometime soon.

I hate seeing you so depressed and I for one am tired of being

bitched at night after night due to your misery. So I am going to

find out what's making you like this even if I have to peek through

every single page in your diary to accomplish that."

Stacy sighs, "Okay, you win, Trish. Whenever you've got time. I'll be

more than glad to let you in on what's happening with me. But not at

this second please. I'm not ready to express what I've gone through

lately. Not right now."

Trish nods, "I respect that. I won't push. Look, whatever you're

going through just don't let it eat you up inside. Okay, sweetie."

Stacy gets up from the bed and hugs Trish for assurance, "Thanks.

You're an awesome friend. I'm glad I have you."

"No problem, girl," Trish pulls away to grab her jacket on the vacant

bed behind her and than to walk toward the door.

"Have fun, T."

Trish chuckles, "I always do with Chris."

Stacy managed to smile as she watched Trish's departure.

Once the small blonde had left, Stacy wipes away her tears ahead of

removing her cell phone from the grasps of her purse. She instantly

pressed the re-dial button and she speaks the moment his voice

sounds, "That was a very close call…no, Trish doesn't know a thing

and she won't…now where were we…"

Chapters/Parts: 3

Chris could tell Trish wasn't much into being at the club with him.

She hasn't drunk anything, danced or even said anything greatly to

him. This confused him very. He placed a tender hand upon hers and

asked faintly, "Hey, sweets. You okay? I noticed you haven't been

yourself since we came here."

Trish sighs, "I'm sorry, Chris. I'm just worried about Stacy. I feel

like she's keeping something from me. Usually we're able to talk

about these things."

"Maybe she just needs space," Chris articulates.

"She continues to say that, but since her breakup with Dave. She's

been acting really strange. I just wished I knew what that was,"

Trish says as she rested her chin in one of her hands.

"Do you think Stacy will talk to me?" Chris asked.

Trish turns to look at him for a long moment and than shakes her head

unsure, "I don't know, Chris. You could try and see what happens."

"Okay I'll attempt that the minute I arrive at the arena tomorrow."

Trish kissed him on the cheek and than speaks in gratitude, "Thanks

so much. You're so sweet to do that."

Chris simply smiles and laughs, "I can't argue with that."

Trish playfully pushes him lightly by his shoulder and verbalizes

with a smile, "Arrogant you." The blond only continues to laugh back

at her before lending over and capturing her lips in a huge kiss.

Trish gladly accepts by returning his kisses passionately.

--------------------------------------------------

Chris prayed that talking to Stacy would help Trish ease her worries.

To be honest, Irvine was a bit curious to why Stacy had been treating

his girlfriend like she has recently. It was totally uncalled for and

Chris did not approve of it. He strolls down the long hallway toward

the Women's Locker Room.

Suddenly he heard a feminine voice coming from around the corner. He

gasps some and backs himself against the wall nearby so the

individual couldn't see him. Carefully, he peeks around the corner.

It was Stacy and she was speaking to someone on her cell phone. Chris

arched his eyes in curiosity, `Hmm…I wonder whom she could be yakking

to.' He watches as the slim blonde closes her cellular phone and than

waltz into the locker room behind her. `Bingo. I've located the

Women's Locker Room,' Chris proudly enunciates to himself. Trish will

be fulfilled with him and than he would be fulfilled later on. Oh the

thoughts. Chris shakes them away, `Not right now, horny toad. We've

got work to do.'

Soon as Stacy left the Divas' Dressing Room and thankfully she had

walked the opposite direction of Chris or she would have spotted him

for sure. Chris scans up and down the corridor to make sure no one

was coming. Once cost was clear, he rushes transversely toward `babe

space' and than closes the door behind him. He quickly looks around

the room and smiles when he spots Stacy purse. Irvine looks behind

making sure no one was going to come in at any moment before trailing

over to the slim blonde's belongings. He picked up the purse, unzips

it and locates her cell phone. "Ah-ha," Chris says as he removes the

object from the bags' alcove. He than carefully scans through the

directories and suddenly his eyes expand, "Oh shit…" The blond

unexpectedly gasps at the sound of a nearby door opening. He turns

his head and impersonates a deer that had just been caught in

headlights.

Christy Hemme had no idea whether to scream or faint at the sight of

Chris Jericho in the Divas' Locker Room. Her eyes instantly enlarge

as she spotted Stacy Keibler's purse and cellular phone in the

blond's hands. The redhead gasps and rushes over to lightly jerk the

items from him, "How dare you, if you needed to use Stacy's cell

phone, Chris. You should've have asked her first. Besides did you

know that you're way out of your locality or have you forgotten what

sex you just so happen to be?" Chris laughs slightly as the hyper one

placed her hands on her hips. "Hey you're right I had no right. Look,

I'm sorry. I was looking for Trish and I thought she would be in

here. I figure Stacy wouldn't mind if I called her. I left my cell

phone with Reso and I have no time to track him down at the moment,"

Chris explains hoping Christy wouldn't ask any more questions.

Inwardly, he was so very glad it was Christy. Trish would have been

very disappointed if Stacy had caught him.

Christy sighs softly feeling bad for snapping, "I'm sorry. I just

hate when people use things without asking. I know she wouldn't have

cared but still…"

Chris nods and finishes the redhead's sentence, "I should've asked…"

"Yes. It's only respectful," Christy articulates.

"Okay I'll remember to do that next time. Hey if you see Trish, let

her know I was looking for her. I'll be down talking to Adam."

Christy smiles, "Sure. And don't worry. I won't tell Stacy that you

were here."

"Thanks," Chris responds as he leaves the locker room altogether.

Christy suddenly frowns the minute Chris left, "What nerve of that

man." She was certainly going to let Stacy know about Irvine fumbling

through her things. Christy knew that she wasn't going to be too

happy neither.

------------------------------------------

Dave heaves a sigh before retrieving his things from the trunk of his

Lincoln Town Car. He had not been able to sleep really good

previously. That song kept churning all night long in his mind.

Whenever it did. It made him think of Stacy and how much he misses

her.

The muscular brunette hesitates a moment ahead of turning and walking

into the arena. All he wanted to do was go straight to his locker

room. So he could be alone once more. Dave really wasn't in the mood

to be social, but he was feeling a bit hungry. So maybe he could slip

into the canteen without anyone knowing.

First he drops his belongings off by his locker room before strolling

toward the crowded area. Dave suddenly found himself sighing as his

eyes caught a glimpse of Stacy from the archway of the catering room.

She was by the coffee table talking to Candice Michelle. She looked

so happy too and it was killing Dave that he wasn't the one making

her smile. Slowly the big man lowered his head some and as a few

tears slip from his eyes. Dave couldn't go in that room even if he

was starving. It was just too painful. He couldn't stand if

unexpectedly she would make fun of how much `torture' she's placed

him in. That was something Dave knew he couldn't bear to endure.

So he turns to walk down the corridor and back to his vacant locker

room. Dave would either come back later or go out to grab something

to eat before the show begins.

--------------------------------------------

Amy Dumas constantly drums her fingers on the table that she shared

with Adam Copeland. She was bored. Adam frowns and looks over to the

extreme diva, "Hey do you mind?" Amy laughs, "No I don't." So she

resumes knowing that it was annoying the hell out of Copeland. The

tall blond only gives her a look of warning. She smirks and than

speaks, "That was some conversation you were having with Chris

earlier. What were you two talking about?"

Adam sighs, "Dave and Stacy. Damn the poor dude's really taking her

leaving very bad. Why doesn't he just get over her and move on? There

are plenty other chicks who would die to have Dave be apart of their

lives."

Amy glares over at the long-legged blonde who was now sitting with

Candice and Maria. They were all laughing, smiling and carrying

on. "And you think she would be heart broke herself. I know that

Stacy cared a great deal about Dave. That's all she ever talked about

to Torrie and me. I don't know what's wrong with her. She hardly

talks to me anymore. When she does. It's like pure hatred or

something. I keep asking myself. `What the hell did I do to her?'

When I try to speak with her. She says `it's nothing and that she

just needs space from Dave'. For some reason, that's all just

bullshit to me," Amy lowers her chin to rested in the bend of her

arms.

Adam was about to get up to walk over to the group of ladies, but he

stops and his eyes expand at the individual who had just strolled up

to their table. Adam faintly speaks, "Oh my fucking god…I can't

believe my eyes…" That got Amy's attention enough to lift her eyes

from the tabletop. Amy could feel her jaw drop at the same scene Adam

had witness. She finally finds her voice to speak, "Dave is going to

go ballistic. Oh my. What has Stacy done?"

When the individual had left. Adam allowed his anger to show. He

didn't like what Keibler had done to his friend and he wanted

answers. So before Amy could stop him. The tall blond Canadian tosses

his napkin on to the table before removing himself from his chair and

marching over to Stacy. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Adam yells

at her. Stacy frowns. She doesn't appreciate being yelled at, but

sort of smiles when Adam is unexpectedly grabbed from behind and than

slammed against the wall nearby back first. The blond winces some as

his shoulder lightly stings with pain.

"Don't ever yell at the mother of my child ever again."

Suddenly, Adam's eyes light up at those words that just came from the

mouth of `The Cerebral Assassin'.

The second those words echoed from Paul's mouth. The entire catering

room immediately went completely silent. Maria exchanged a look of

disbelief with Candice Michelle ahead of speaking to Stacy, "Oh my

god. Stacy, are you crazy? You do know that Dave will be furious once

he finds all of this out." Stacy quickly sent an unappreciative

glance, "Yes. That's why he isn't going to know and you better keep

quiet." Maria frowns, "Are you threatening me?" Stacy only throws her

a look of warning before removing herself from the table, disposing

her lunch and than leaving the canteen.

Stacy walked down the hall, turning a sharp corner and accidentally

running smack dab into a very stalwart chest. She found herself

falling butt first onto the ground beneath. "Ouch", Stacy mutely

murmurs. She winces some before looking up and finding Dave standing

above her.

"Oh Stacy, I'm so sorry," the 6 foot 6 brunette articulates in

concern. He instantly helps Stacy back to her feet showing that there

was a gentleman still deep down inside of him. Once back to base,

Stacy simply affirms her gratitude by nodding her head. She come

inches close to departing opposite of Dave but stopped at the feel of

his left fist around her right bicep. "Stacy, we need to talk," Dave

softly pleas. The long-legged blonde rotates her head to look

Bautista straight in the depths of his eyes. She jerks her arm away

from his grip and verbalizes in a low tone, "I don't think we need to

discuss anything. So if you please - I must get ready for RAW."

Dave does allow Stacy to stroll pass him before articulating

loudly, "You can't keep dodging me, Stac. Eventually I will discover

whatever it is you're hiding from me." Stacy pauses from walking and

sighs. She rotates to look back at Dave, but instantly her eyes wide

in slight horror.

The big man frowns in confusion as Stacy took off down the corridor

walking somewhat fast. As if she was trying to get away from someone.

When Dave turns to see what scared the shit out of his former

girlfriend. Anger instantaneously builds in his eyes. Bautista

doesn't hesitate to trail over to grab the individual by his shirt,

slam him high against the wall and growls, "You're the whole damn

reason why Stacy's acting so funny, aren't you? I should've known

since you're the WWE's slut anyways." Chris Irvine's eyes expand in

confusion at Dave's words ahead of speaking in tremble, "I'm sorry,

but you've got the wrong man." Dave smirks, "Oh really?"

---------------------------------------------------------

Stacy rushed into the Women's Locker Room. She placed her hand on her

chest and breathes rapidly. She only prayed Dave didn't see Paul

coming down the hall at the moment she rushed away like that. Stacy

would be dead meat and Paul wouldn't live to see his next World

Championship Title. Gosh, she had to keep this from Dave as long as

she could. Too many people would get hurt and it'd be all her fault.

It's the last thing Stacy wanted.

"So how long do you plan to keep this secret from Dave, Stacy?"

Stacy frowns at the resonance of those words and turns to find Dawn

Marie. "What's it to you?"

Dawn laughs some and than verbalizes, "Well Stac, you know how much

I've always wanted to get my paws on Dave. Well now I have my chance.

All I have to do is tell him about your love affair with Paul."

Stacy glares at Dawn for a moment before pushing her against a wall

nearby and than applying one hand around her throat. The long-legged

blonde speaks in a low tone, "I swear if you say anything it'll be

the last thing you ever do."

"Oo…making threats now are we, Stacy?"

"What happen between me and Paul was a mistake. We both were drunk

and we had no clue what we were doing."

Dawn shoves Stacy away from her before dusting herself off. "You

still cheated on Dave and with the man that he despises the most. How

could you? I thought you loved Dave."

Tears build in Stacy's eyes. "I didn't mean to hurt him. It's an

error that I wish I could take back."

Dawn crossed her arms. She verbalizes, "You can't keep this a secret

forever. He's going to find out."

Stacy looks at Dawn and grows defensive, "No he won't."

"Oh yeah? What are you going to tell him when suddenly you start

showing? Huh? Or are you going to lie to him about that too?"

"I'll think of something. I just need time," Stacy placed her hands

into her blonde hair in frustration.

The brunette diva shakes her head and than asked, "How are you going

to keep all of those people in that canteen quiet? Hey I might not

have to do anything. Seeing that Adam is the one that Paul attacked.

And you know how passionate Adam's hate is for him."

"Copeland won't say anything at all. Amy just happens to be one of my

close friends. I'll talk to her. As soon as RAW is over. I'll have a

chat with Amy and everything will be okay." Stacy walked over to grab

a few shower items. "Now if you'll excuse me. I got to get ready for

RAW."

Without words, Dawn moves away from the doorway of the shower room to

allow Stacy excess. She observes as the tall blonde walked pass her.

Dawn inwardly smirks and speaks to herself, `Once I'm through, Dave

will never look at you again. Thanks to your old pal Randy Orton.

I've got a date with your ex right after RAW.' Dawn laughs spitefully

as she departs from the Divas' Dressing Room.

caused this rift between Stacy and me. I know it. I can see it in his

eyes."

"What!" Trish could not believe the accusations coming from Dave. She

knew he was upset but damn he didn't have to treat Chris like this

when he hasn't done anything. "No, Dave. Chris is with me. He always

has been."

Dave slowly looked from the small blonde Canadian to Chris. Irvine

grins somewhat and articulates, "She's telling the truth, man." The

big man sighs and than finally lets Chris go. Dave placed his hands

on his hips and heaves another sigh, "I'm sorry. I just can't figure

out why Stacy ran off like she did just now. When I turned. I saw you

and…"

Chris nods, "It's okay."

Trish felt bad for Dave and wish she could help but Stacy was a

mystery to her as well. "Dave, Stacy has been acting very strange

lately. Every time I ask. She tells me that it's nothing."

"When's the last time that you spoke to her?"

"Last night before I went out to that club with Chris. You know, when

I came into the hotel room. She was on her cell phone with someone.

She hung up pretty fast. I guess Stacy didn't want me to find out

whom she was talking to. I wonder why? I think it's the reason that

I've been so confused."

At the echo of that paragraph, Chris suddenly felt uncomfortable and

unexpectedly speaks, "Um…I have to go. I'm the first act on RAW and I

got to go get ready for that. I'll see you both later." Before either

Dave or Trish could say anything, Chris departs down the corridor

pretty quick. The last thing Chris wanted was to cause friction

before RAW started. Irvine knew exactly whom Stacy was talking to.

None other than Paul LesVesque and Chris will never forget finding

that name in the directories of Stacy's cell phone. Damnit, if it

wasn't for Christy Hemme. Chris could have had that cell phone in

Dave's grasp at this very moment. Than the big man could have at last

got the answers to his questions. Besides Chris thought it would be

better for Stacy to explain herself. Chris was going to make sure

that bimbo told Bautista the truth, but how.

Trish frowns as she observes the departure of her boyfriend from a

distance. "Now that was bizarre. Why did he just leave like that?"

Trish asked but knew Dave probably didn't know. Dave shakes his head

and than verbalizes, "I have no clue but I think he knows something

that I don't. You can bet I'll find out too." Trish gives Dave a look

and grows suspicious for some reason. Maybe Chris and Stacy were up

to something. Trish just didn't know what, yet.

----------------------------------------------------------

Chris made it a quest to stop by the Divas' Locker Room. Once he had

arrived at the correct door. The blond Canadian knocks and is greeted

by Candice Michelle. Chris smiles, "Hey there. Is Stacy around?"

Candice smiles back and answers, "Yes. She's in here." Chris slowly

enters into the area and rotates his head to observe as Candice left

the room. He now felt nervous for some reason. Chris never trusted

Stacy.

"Um…Stacy?"

Stacy turns to meet Chris' eyes, "Yeah. What are you doing here?"

The blond shifted his awareness from the tall diva to the floor, "I

need to talk to you. About Dave."

Stacy rolls her eyes and grows slightly defensive, "Frankly I don't

think that's any of your damn business."

"Oh yeah it is…because I know…"

She glares at Chris before asking, "You know what?"

Irvine took a chance by strolling closer and pointing, "I know about

your little rendezvous with Paul. You're lucky that I haven't let

Dave know about it too."

Stacy frowns in confusion, "How-"

Chris interrupts, "I just happen to have been in the Divas' Locker

Room earlier. I stole your cell phone for a quick second and I saw

that jerk's name in your cell phone's directories. You're lucky that

Christy came in when she did. If she hadn't of…Dave would be kicking

Paul's ass right about now."

Stacy could sense tears building and she articulates in

apprehension, "How dare you? That's private. Oh my god…" Stacy went

from a standing position to now sitting on the locker room bench with

her head in her hands.

"You should've known that eventually someone would have found out…"

Stacy looked up and responds instantly, "Not the way you did. God,

what does Trish see in you?"

"A person who's honest." Chris pauses and than hesitates before

asking, "Why him? You know how much Dave hates Paul."

"It was a mistake. I was drunk. Paul was drunk. There's nothing more

to explain. I wish I could take it back but I can`t." Stacy buries

her face in the palms of her hands to cry melodiously. God knows if

her friends only found out the real truth. They would surely hate her

for good.

Chris did feel terrible for making the long-legged blonde cry. So he

trails over, pulled Stacy to her feet and than into his arms for a

hug. "Look, everything will be okay. All you have to do is tell Dave

the truth. I'm sure he'll understand."

Stacy looks into Chris' blue eyes and verbalizes, "I'm so scared. Not

only because of the affair, but I'm pregnant with Paul's child."

Chris pushed a strand of Stacy's hair back from her face. "All I can

say is to be honest. Dave can only get mad and tell you to get lost,

but at least you won't have to go around carrying this sort of

burden."

At that moment there was so much emotion going through Stacy's body

and being in Chris' arms at that second felt comforting. "Thank you.

Right now, I just need space. That's all I ask."

Chris nods, "Okay. That's understandable." Chris pulls away

afterwards, but when he goes to try and depart from the locker room.

Keibler lightly grabbed a hold of the blond's right forearm. That got

Chris' attention enough to turn back to the long-legged diva. When he

did. Stacy immediately locked lips with him. At that instant, Chris'

eyes wide and he unexpectedly finds himself kissing the blonde back.

Irvine gradually closed his eyes but quickly reopened them to the

sound of a loud scream nearby and than slamming of the door that lead

to the Divas' Locker Room. Oh Shit. Now what the hell is Dave going

to think?

Parts/Chapters: 7

"Trish! Trish! Wait! You don't understand. That back in the locker

room wasn't what it seemed," Chris speaks as he chases after Trish.

Trish stops walking and turns around to meet the screaming

blond. "Yeah and I suppose your lips just accidentally stumbled upon

Stacy's," the blonde folds her arms. She could feel tears coming to

her eyes. Trish looked from the ground to Chris and speaks, "How

could you? I trusted you and Stacy." Chris tries to wrap his arms

around Trish to prove how sorry he was, but she would have none of

it. Trish took one quick step back and articulates, "No. Don't touch

me. Now that I think about it. I should've let Dave kick your ass."

The blonde takes one long look at Chris before shaking her head in

disappointment and than turning to leave the building altogether.

Irvine placed both hands in his hair as he observes Trish's

departure. This was indeed a mess.

Bautista smirked some as he stood back and watched the last bit of

the scene between Chris and Trish. He had overheard some of their

words. Dave was not happy. He does not hesitate to walk up toward

Chris. "So it was you, huh?" Dave shouts.

Chris' eyes expand and he slowly rotates to find Dave behind him. The

moment he was face to face with Dave. The brunette grabbed Chris by

the collar of his shirt and slams him lightly against a wall nearby.

Chris' eyes expand more when Dave gradually raised his left fist.

"Dave."

Chris suddenly found himself sighing in relief when Dave turns at the

sound of his name. Thank God for that or Chris would have

been "mashed potatoes".

Dave smiles, "Hey Dawn."

"You haven't forgot about our date, have you?"

Dave finally lets go of Chris to give Dawn his full awareness. He

grins, "No I haven't forgot and I'm looking forward to it."

Dawn laughs, "Well good. Hey don't waste all your energy. I like my

men 100%." The brunette diva gives Dave a wink before continuing down

the hall.

It doesn't take long for the big man to focus his attention back on

Chris. "This isn't over by a long shot." Dave looks at his watch

before adding, "Thankfully for you. RAW is about to begin. So I will

deal with you afterwards."

Chris swallows hard as he watched Dave leave toward the locker rooms.

Somehow. Someway. He'd have to find away to save himself from all of

this. There was no way in hell he'd lose Trish or have Dave stay mad

at him for something he hadn't done. This was all down to Stacy and

Paul. Chris needed a plan. Something that will show that he was

indeed innocent after all. Right now, Trish is all that matters. He

will deal with Dave a bit later. So without words, Chris trailed down

to his own locker room to grab his belongings. He left the arena

before RAW even began to go find his blonde princess. Chris knew

exactly where she would be too.

----------------------------------------------

Stacy frowns as another knock came to her locker room. She had

already caused more problems now between Chris and Trish. What else

could happen? She sighs before trailing over and answering the door.

It was Randy Orton.

"What do you want?"

Randy noticed the tears in Stacy's eyes and asked in concern, "What's

wrong?"

"Nothing…I just wish…all of this would go away," Stacy shifted her

eyes from the floor to look at the young brunette.

"Why? What happened?"

Stacy placed her hands in her hair for a moment. She releases her

locks and than confesses, "I kissed Chris and Trish saw."

"Oh man, Stac." Randy frowns in confusion and than turns to

question, "Is Chris the reason why you left Dave? Did you guys…do

anything together that you weren't suppose to?"

Stacy's jaw dropped at the echo of Randy's inquiries and she grows

defensive, "Oh my god. How could you even ask me all of that? Why

would I want Chris? He's my best friend's boyfriend. As for Dave,

that's between me and him."

Randy shakes his head, "I think I have every right to know why

suddenly my friend's heart got broken. Why are you holding back on

him? Tell him the truth so he can move on."

The long-legged blonde folds her arms and looks at Randy for a long

second. She was feeling a bit jealous. "Oh. Now you're on his side. I

thought you were my friend too. You know something, Randy. That's all

fine because I have no time to listen to all this crap. Now if you'd

be so kind. Could you please leave?"

Orton wasn't thrilled at all toward Stacy's tone of voice. She had

really changed and never has she ever snapped at him before. "I just

thought I'd come by and see how you were but seeing as you're being

such a bitch." Randy shrugs and than quickly adds, "I'll be more than

happy to leave. I hope whatever you've done has made you proud. You

broke a man into and I'm going to help put him back together with a

little help from Dawn Marie."

Stacy's eyes instantly expand and she grew curious. "Dawn?" Keibler

inwardly grew nervous as she waited for an answer from Randy.

"Yeah. Dawn. Thanks to me. She and Dave have a date tonight as soon

as RAW is done." Randy smirks slightly and than continues, "Why? Do

you have a problem with that?"

The blonde glanced at the 25-year-old brunette for an extended minute

before shaking her head, "No".

Randy grows silently suspicious thanks to the way Stacy just reacted

to the mention of Dave and Dawn. Something was not right and he

wanted to know why he was feeling that way, but he decides not to

question. So instead he departs from the Divas` Dressing Room and

trails down the corridor to find Dave.

----------------------------------------------

The minute after Randy had left. Stacy gasps loudly and speaks in

nervousness, "Oh no. I can't let that date happen. I got to find away

to stop it. I will not let Dawn win." Stacy had to think of something

fast.

Suddenly an idea unfolds in her mind. She rushed to grab her purse

and than leaves `babe space'. The long-legged blonde quickly walks

down the hallway looking for a date of her own. Once she's found

someone. Than she will find out exactly where Dave and Dawn were

going. She would take her chances and spy on them. She wanted to make

sure nothing about her and Paul slip to Dave from her enemy.

Stacy suddenly discovers herself smiling as she had stumbled upon the

perfect guy. She taps his shoulder lightly and when he turns to meet

her. She doesn`t hesitate to ask, "Tyson? I got a proposition. Would

you help me?"

A smirk grew on Tomko's face and he nods, "Certainly, Ms. Keibler.

Anything for you." He gently took her hand in his and kissed the back

of it. To show that he approved of whatever she had in mind.

Song: Take It To The Limit

Ratings: PG-13

Characters: Batista and Jason Reso [Christian]

Characters mentioned: Tyson Tomko, Jamie Noble, Randy Orton, Dawn

Marie, Nidia and Stacy Keibler

Disclaimers: Vince McMahon and the WWE own all characters. The Eagles

own `Take It To The Limit'

Distributions: Ask first.

Author's Note: This takes place directly after Wrestlemania 21.

There's a short note at the end of the story from me.

Summary: Stacy has ended things with Dave unexpectedly. Will he

discover Stacy's reason or continue to be left in the dark?

Parts/Chapters: 8

Dave slowly buries his head in between his hands. There was no way he

could make that date with Dawn Marie. Dave did appreciate Randy's

help, but he simply wasn't ready to face another woman again. It

hadn't been long ago since his break-up with Stacy Keibler. He didn't

want to hurt Dawn if suddenly his mind drifted off some place else.

So as rude as it seems, Dave would have to stand her up. Although he

knew there would be a lot of explaining to do which he didn't mind

doing. Dave sighs as a soft melody begins to hum from the radio on

the bench next to the chair that he sat in.

- All alone at the end of the evening

And the bright lights have faded to blue

I was thinking `bout a woman who might have

Loved me and I never knew -

Bautista wasn't for sure how much more of this heartache he could

stand. Whether Stacy cared or not, her secrets were

gradually `exterminating' Dave within. Why doesn't she just come

forward with a simple explanation instead of leaving Dave to ponder?

It goes to show that some only care about themselves. Dave shakes his

head in disappointment at those thoughts as he continued to listen to

the song that softly played in the background.

- You know I've always been a dreamer

[Spent my life running `round]

And it's so hard to change

[Can't seem to settle down]

But the dreams I've seen lately

Keep on turning out and burning out

And turning out the same

So put me on a highway

And show me a sign

And take it to the limit one more time -

"Are you okay?"

Dave shifts his eyes from the floor to find a well-dressed Jason

Reso. His hair was neatly combed back, decked out in blue-gray khakis

and a white button down short-sleeve shirt. He was dressed to kill.

Dave smirked some, "Wow. Don't you look nice?"

Jay grins, "Well I've got a date."

Dave chuckles, "No shit. Who's the lucky gal?"

Jay blushes as he walks over to retrieve his belongings, "Nidia. I've

had like this major thing for her since she came on RAW. She's just

hot. I'm glad she grew a brain and dumped that piece of trash, Jamie

Noble."

Dave smiles and laughs, "You better not let her hear that last line

you just echoed there, bud or you'll be attending whatever alone."

Dave's happiness instantly falters as he caught on to the

word `alone'. Exactly the way Stacy Keibler has left him feeling.

Jay frowns as he noticed the abrupt change in Dave. He hesitates

before asking, "Why did you alternate from the question I asked

before? When I came in the locker room. You seemed a bit upset. Are

you okay?"

Dave sighs, he pauses before speaking, "I guess…I assume…" Bautista

swallows back a few tears that were building in his eyes. He than

adds, "It hurts so much to think about what Stacy's done to me. I

changed the subject to escape this pain I've been feeling but it

doesn't help. It just sort of lingers."

Jason took a minute before taking seat in another chair next to

Dave, "Do you want to talk about whatever's on your mind? I'm here if

you need someone to listen."

Dave shakes his head some, "I don't want to throw all my problems on

to you. You've got yourself a great girl. You should go and have a

good time. Don't worry about old `Batista'."

Jason frowns and than grows slightly defensive, "I most certainly

will. You're my friend and whatever is troubling you than I want to

help. At least try."

Dave grows silent allowing his ears to take in some of the soft

melody that still hummed from the radio nearby.

- You can spend all your time making money

You can spend all your love making time

If it all fell to pieces tomorrow

Would you still be mine?

And when you're looking for your freedom

[Nobody seems to care]

And you can't find the door

[Can't find it any where]

When there's nothing to believe in

Still you're coming back, you're running back

You're coming back for more -

Dave heaves a sigh before surprisingly speaking, "I can't seem to

figure out what I've done to Stacy. What have I done to make her hate

me so much?"

Jason looks at the massive brunette and asked a question of his

own, "Have you tried talking to her about how you're feeling?"

Dave nods, "I tried that earlier. She bumped right into me and I

thought it would have been the perfect time to talk. We were alone or

so I think. She took off down the hall and that's the last I've seen

her. My heart is on the ground and Stacy could give a damn that she's

walking all over it. All I've asked was one simple explanation about

why she broke us up. She left the word `goodbye' in lipstick on my

bathroom mirror and that's all. I can't go on with that being the

only thing left of our relationship. It's driving me crazy trying to

put all the pieces together myself. It's hard because there are

portions missing and I can't figure them out."

The blond Canadian frowns in thought as he listened to Dave's words.

He thinks before giving input, "I think somewhere you're

underestimating yourself. You need to find Stacy and demand answers.

No more pleas or she'll only see your questions as jokes. Stacy.

She's so naïve. It's probably the reason why I couldn't imagine

myself dating her."

Dave gives Jay a stern look and than sighs, "As much as I hate, I'll

have to agree with you about the naïve part. I don't think she

understands."

"You need to make her, Dave or she'll continue to keep whatever it is

from you," Jay articulates in a serious tone.

Deep down Dave knew that Jay was right with everything he has been

saying to him. The big man was so glad that Reso decided to come into

the locker room because he couldn't have found better advice anywhere

else. He takes an absorbed breath before turning his attention back

to the song [which was coming to an end] on the radio.

- So put me on the highway

And show me a sign

And take it to the limit one more time

Take it to the limit

Take it to the limit

Take it to the limit one more time -

After thinking of everything that Jason Reso had said. Dave finally

made a decision. He would spend the rest of the night locating Stacy,

instead of going out with Dawn. Hopefully Dave would find the answers

that he's been searching for.

Dave looks back at Jason and asked, "Do you know where I can find

Stacy? I was supposed to meet Dawn at the local café. Thanks to Randy

Orton. We had a date planned. I'm not ready to see other women yet."

Jay nods, "Very understandable. As for Stacy, my in-ring bodyguard,

Tyson Tomko is taking her out to a local club."

Bautista raises an eyebrow, "Tyson Tomko?" He pulls a face and shakes

his head slightly, "Man, she's really lost it. No offense but Tyson's

got to be the most repulsive thing walking around backstage. I wonder

what Stacy sees in him."

Jason smirks, "A way to keep her "secret" safe. She had plans on

spying on you and Dawn tonight."

Dave was about to speak but frowns in confusion at Jason's words. He

suddenly sends Jay a look and asked, "Is there something you know

that I don't? If so, I'll give you three seconds to tell me."

Jason lingers some before revealing, "She's pregnant."

Gradually Dave's eyes wide, he points to himself and asked in

shock, "I'm going to be a father?" Dave smiles, "So that's what she's

been keeping from me? Why haven't she said anything?"

Jay sighs and than speaks, "Some women are very secretive about those

things."

Dave grows excited and hugs Jay, "Oh my god. Thanks so much for

telling me. Wow. I'm going to be a dad."

Jay chuckles as he smoothes the grooves out of his shirt and

speaks, "You're welcome, man. Hey go find Stacy and let her know

everything will be okay."

Dave couldn't stop smiling. He nods once more, "I will." Without any

more words, Dave grabbed his bags and rushed out to the parking

garage.

***Note From Author: Keep in mind that we [the readers and myself]

know who the real father is and why Stacy left Dave. Paul LesVesque

better known as Triple H. Just think what this will do to Dave once

Parts/Chapters: 9/9 [This is not the end to this fiction. I will be

writing another set of stories that go with `Fatal Shock'. Just so

you know, this fiction will most likely come in sets. Sort of like a

long novel]

Trish thought she would never stop crying. The images of Stacy and

Chris kissing would be an image that she'll never forget. The small

blonde wasn't for sure if she would ever be able to forgive Chris or

Stacy for their actions. Even if it was a `spare of the moment' kiss.

Trish was about to ask the bartender for another shot of Vodka but

was interrupted by a soft hand resting upon her right shoulder. She

slowly shifts her attention from the bar counter to find Stacy

standing next to her stool. Trish sighs and quickly turns her eyes

away from the taller blonde, "What are you doing here? Haven't you

done enough by destroying what I had with Chris?"

Stacy frowns ahead of taking a seat on the stool next to Trish, "I

have every right to be here. This is a public place you know."

Trish rolls her eyes, "Than why don't you march your skinny ass

wherever and leave me alone. I don't feel like converting words with

you."

Stacy doesn't budge instead speaks softly, "There is no sense in this

attitude toward me, T. What happened between Chris and me was an

accident? Nothing more."

Those words were all Stratus could stand to hear. Trish shifts her

attention back to Stacy and she was growing upset, "How can you sit

there and consider making out with my boyfriend right? Huh? Because I

can't comprehend."

"Trish! We were not making out! You've turned an innocent kiss into a

complete nothing."

Trish raised an eyebrow toward Stacy and asked, "Oh really? Then by

all means, Stacy explain what it is you're trying to say."

Stacy pauses a moment to order a glass of Black Opal before

continuing, "Chris had only came by the Divas' Dressing Room to speak

to me about Dave. I got real upset because I found out that Chris had

discovered my `secret`. Next minute I knew Chris was holding me and

trying to calm me down." Stacy takes a second to sigh ahead of giving

more details, "Trish, he [Chris] did try to leave. It was my fault

that we kissed because I'm the one who made the move on him first. So

I guess I made him feel trapped and he had no other choice but to

return it."

Trish glares at Stacy for an extensive second. After listening to the

tall blonde's explanation, she takes a long sip from her glass of

alcohol. Trish placed the drink down before looking back at her so-

called best friend to speak, "So Chris was telling the truth, but you

still kissed him. Why? Why would you try and steal Chris from me,

Stacy? You know how much he means to me."

Stacy's eyes gradually build with tears and she articulates, "I

wasn't trying to rob Chris from you, T. I only kissed him in hopes

it'd help me forget the mess between Dave and me."

Trish shakes her head again this time in disbelief, "I can't believe

you, Stacy. Why would you try and ruin another person's happiness

just so you can hide from your misery? What in the hell has got you

so depressed that you would do that to me? You're supposed to be my

fucking best friend for crying out loud."

Stacy unexpectedly blurts out, "I cheated okay…" Trish went

completely quiet at the echo of Stacy's words. Stacy begins to sob

lightly as she adds, "I-I cheated on Dave…with Paul LesVesque…and now

I'm pregnant with Paul's child…" Trish's eyes wide in shock, but she

wasn't for sure of what to think or say.

"I hope to God that isn't what I just heard."

Stacy instantly sits up straight at the sound of the voice that had

just spoken those words and her eyes suddenly expand to huge saucers.

The tall blonde slowly turns to find Dave standing behind her and he

was not at all happy. Bautista was about to say something else until

another individual nearby caught his interest. It was none other than

Paul LesVesque. Dave doesn't hesitate to walk over toward the massive

blond.

Stacy gasps when her eyes caught sight of Dave grabbing Paul by the

collar. "No!" Stacy screams before rushing over and stepping in

between both huge men.

Dave frowns in confusion, "Stacy! Move out of the way. This asshole

is going to pay."

Stacy shakes her head as more tears form, "No!"

Dave glances at Stacy and than looks back at Paul. He asked, "Why

won't you?"

Stacy made sure she was staring into her ex's eyes before suddenly

revealing, "Because…I love him."

Paul sends Dave a huge smirk and he speaks, "You may have got the

gold…but just remember who stole your girl."

Dave could feel his heart begin to shatter into pieces as Paul begins

to laugh. He was so excited about becoming a father but now thanks to

the Cerebral Assassin that dream died. If it's the last thing Dave

does, he will not allow his enemy to get the last laugh. Somehow.

Some way. Dave will get revenge on Paul, but how.
