”What do you think of Jordan?" he ask, his eyes glued to the TV screen.
”I think she is Joey's
girlfriend and you shouldn't ask me that. So I can't honestly answer the
question.” Shane replied, defiantly not liking the direction this conversation
could take.
”Hmm...” Matt was deep in
thought. Thoughts that Shane knew from experience could be bad news, especially
for Joey.
Matt's eyes were focused on the
television but he made no comment when Shane flipped the channel. Not only was
Matt talking but he wasn't even watching the TV. This was not going to be
pretty.
Amy spoke up from her seat on
the floor,”What has Matthews done to crush your itty
bitty ego?”
Matt shot her a look, which she
ignored flipping through a magazine.
“I was just asking your opinion
on our dear friend's new significant other.” Matt replied defensively.
”Yeah sure Matt, tell it to the
fans. You’re talking to people who know you. So what did Joey do your
highness?” Amy asks again, ignoring Matt's attempt at innocence.
“Ya know Dumas if you want to
discuss egos we could easily bring yours into the debate.” Matt's temper was
rising steadily.
Amy stood up, brushing her hair
back, “My, my Mr. Hardy aren't we testy. Whatever Joey did it must have
involved a nice piece of ass for you to be so upset over me asking a few
harmless questions.”" She smiled at him and left the room. Let him get
pissed at her. She was the reason he'd be getting his next singles push anyway.
Matt sat and thought about how
he could get Shane to open up. Amy was the least of his concerns. She was
crushed that he was discussing a woman other than her. Shane knew that Matt had met Jordan first. Childish as it may seem it makes her his.
Jordan had told Matt that he had nice assets and would love to
pursue something with him. Then when he returned from a loop, her and Joey had hooked up.
“Matt, I am not helping you with
this situation. For once, go to Joey and explain what’s going on. I mean don’t
you get tried of being petty?” Shane said as he heard Matt sigh. Shane knew that he had overstepped his ground.
But enough was enough, just because at the beginning of every year Matt asked
for forgiveness does not entitle him to the crap he does.
“Shane, I understand your
concern but I am just looking out for Joey. I mean the girl was all but in my
pants when I met her. I just don’t want Joey’s heart to brake for no reason.”
Matt said as he tried to sound sincere.
He knew that sooner or later Shane would break down and realize that
what Matt wants Matt gets.
Amy pulled into Joey and
Christian’s driveway. She knew that she was about to take actions that would
make her life a living hell, however, Joey was her friend. She stepped out of
her car and walked to the door. She knocked and waited for him or Christian to
answer.
Christian sighed as he was in
the midst of his Dragon Ball Z marathon seeing how he had missed it during the
week. Between work, shows, and whatever else popped up. The saddest thing was
that it probably wasn’t for him. He had the weekend off so he told everyone he
was going back to Maryland. Joey was out with Jordan. Christian thought it was cool that his cousin had
finally found that someone to settle down with. Christian felt everyone had an
angle and that he needed to hurt them before he was hurt. “Amy? Come on in.” Christian said as he heard
the show come back on.
“Oh, I did not mean to interrupt
the DBZ marathon. I came by to see Joey, is he here?” Amy questioned as she
followed him into the room. She hated the way Christian made himself a hermit
because as he put it everyone had an angle.
“He and Jordan are out
somewhere. You can call on the cell if it is important. Just don’t call for him
to bring something home to eat.” Christian said hurtingly
as Amy stifled a laugh.
“When does this go off? I will
run you to get something.” Amy offered as Christian smiled. “Give me 15 more
minutes. I have to see Gohan with the sword.”
Christian said as he heard another car. “I mean I park behind the house and say
I am going out of town and people still come by.”
Amy shook her head as she moved
to the window. She noticed Joey getting out of the car and walk around to open
the door for Jordan. She noticed that Joey was really being a gentleman with
this one. Damn, he is into this one, Amy thought as she waited patiently for Jordan to step out of the car. She was amazing as Jordan stood next to Joey. She was 5’11’’, with long brown hair
that was up in a ponytail with curls. Amy laughed as she noticed Jordan’s eyes. If people did not know any better they would
think Jordan was the perfect compliment to Joey.
Joey smiled as he hugged next to
Jordan. For some reason, things were cool when she was around.
She was without baggage and drama. She had not slept with half his friends so
no one had a mean word to say except for everyone’s people person, Matt. He
knew that Matt was all into Jordan but he scared her. Matt was way into himself for Jordan’s own good. As they approached the door, he noticed Amy
in the window. He hated the way she saved herself for Matt. She would never
admit and neither would Matt but they did make a great couple until they became
Lita and Matt instead of Matt and Amy.
“Amy, what’s going on?” Joey questioned as he took Jordan’s coat. “Not a whole lot, just hanging out.” Amy
answered now scared to tell what she knew. “Oh, where are my manners? Amy, this
is Jordan; Jordan, this is Amy.” Joey said as they shook hands. “She’s a true friend. She is going to feed
me, unlike some people who I am even kin to whom forsakes me. But I refuse to
name names, Joey and Jordan” Christian said as he walked to his room.
“Christian, I never said I would
not bring you something to eat. I guess I will save this salad and spaghetti
for later.” Jordan shouted as Joey laughed at her. She humored Christian with
his no one will ever care for me attitude. Jordan smiled as she noticed Christian re-enter the room.
“You are going to feed me?
There’s hope for you yet Joseph.” Christian said as everyone laughed. “Amies, I don’t really need you now. But I thought you had
something to talk to Joey about?” Christian asked as Amy looked away.
“It’s not important it can
wait.” Amy said as Joey looked at her. “Nonsense, come on. Jordan does not mind she needs Christian time anyways. Come on
in the kitchen.” Joey insisted, as Amy reluctantly followed him. Jordan sat on the couch near Christian. She knew of Amy. She
was always discussed with Matt, another reason why Jordan backed off of Matt. Jordan shook her thoughts and turned her attention to
Christian.
“Don’t worry; Joey is just going
to tell her that Matt is only trying to make her jealous and that she needs to
be assertive. She is the one who got Matt the push he is getting.” Christian
said as he noticed the look Jordan gave him, the patent that’s not what I am talking about
look. “Don’t you guys have a show on Tuesday?” Jordan asked as she took the remote and decided to find
something an adult would watch. “Yeah at the Armory at 7 and don’t put it on
Lifetime either. You warp my mind with that stuff.” Christian said as he
finished his salad and moved on to the spaghetti.
“But wait? They are showing She woke up pregnant. If you see any Lifetime movie this one
is it.” Jordan pleaded as she smiled at him. “You know you said that
about every battered women story, stalking story, not to mention someone stole
my child and my all time favorite, my best friend stole my man.” Christian
joked as Jordan took him in. She was determined to get him out of this
slump. And she knew just the person. She wondered why Amy was hesitant to talk
with Joey. But she did not focus on it. Joey always confided in her, so need to
sweat it.
Joey sat a glass of tea in front
of Amy and sat down. He looked into her green eyes. Amy took a sip and tried to
avoid the present conversation with Joey. She wasn’t sure what Matt had planned
but she wanted to give Joey a head’s up. “Okay, Amies,
tell me something.” Joey said as he wanted to go see what Christian and Jordan was doing. “I am not sure exactly what is up with Matt
but he is plotting something against you and Jordan.” Amy blurted out Joey just
smiled. “Amy thanks for the concern.
Unless Matt has a mind altering drug, Jordan is not interested.” Joey said as Amy sighed.
“Joey, I am serious. You know
how Matt is, He has his eyes on her and what he wants he gets.” Amy said as her
voice rose. “Amy, calm down,” Joey said as he glanced towards the living room.
“I promise I am not letting go of Jordan, You need to tell Hardy to back off and find a new
hobby.” Joey said as he moved to his bedroom and slammed the door. Jordan jumped at the loud boom. Christian lay unfazed in her
lap. She noticed Amy, at that moment, she had the solemnest eyes. She didn’t
know the whole story about Amy, nor did she feel the need to, her main concern
was Joey. When she heard Remedy echoed
from his bedroom, Jordan just sat back on the couch. That was Joey’s cue to be
left alone.
Amy for some reason returned to
Matt’s. She hated the pull he had on her.
She could be a top superstar but she stayed paired with Matt. So many
guys had approached her but oh no Matt was the one for her. Even though, they
are not together, he still smiles at her and she still can forget the stupid
stunts he pulls. “Amy, where did you
go?” Matt questioned as she walked into the kitchen. “I had to take Christian’s
movie back and then I went to the mall.” Amy said as Matt moved closer to her.
“You know Shane has gone home.” He whispered as he moved her reddish brown
hair. “Really? Then we need to talk.” Amy said as she
heard the assertiveness in her voice.
Matt stood back and smiled. Amy
was being assertive something has gotten under her skin. “About
what?” Matt teased. “Not what, who... what is your fascination with Jordan? I mean her and Joey are happy together. Why can’t you
find someone that is not with your friends?” Amy said as Matt looked at her
with fire in his eyes. “Like who you? Sorry been there and you remember how
that went. I am sorry... Jordan peak my interests. I won’t stop until I know why.” Matt
said as he walked out the door.
Jordan sighed as she heard the music cease, She moved Christian
and walked to check on Joey, in the short time that they had dated, she knew
his moods. “Joey, sweetie, are you okay?” Jordan asked as she opened the door. “Jordy, not right now!” Joey said as he walked to the
other side of the room. “Joey, what did Amy say to you? You are shaking. Tell
me why you are mad… please talk to me!!” Jordan begged as Joey looked at her, “You would not understand.”
Joey said as he tossed the football.
Jordan hated this. She knew that it had something to do with
Amy, which probably included Matt. “So what is Matt up to now?” Jordan questioned in such a way that Joey lost his composure. “Jordan, I am serious. Don’t get involved... it is between Matt
and I.” Joey said as the doorbell rang. “Don’t go macho on me. I am a big girl
and can hold my own.” Jordan said as they heard Christian answered the door. “Jordan, it is just that...” Joey paused as Matt entered his
bedroom.
“Damn, nephew, I see that you
still don’t know what to do.” Matt teased as Joey sighed loudly. “What do you
need?” Joey asked as he stepped between Matt and Jordan. “I just wanted to talk
with Jordan is that a problem.” Matt said, as Joey wanted to punch
him right there. “I think she is standing right here.” Joey said as Matt
sighed. “I wanted to talk to her alone but okay. Jordan, has Joey been completely honest with you about his past
relationships?”
Jordan moved in front of Matt because she could sense Joey’s
negativity. “Did Joey tell you about his last girlfriend? Or so we call her
just a fuck?” Matt asked as Jordan tilted her head. “Excuse me, what are you talking
about?”
Joey turned away. He did not
want Jordan to find out this way. “Oh yeah, Joey is quite the ladies
man. I am surprise that he has been with you for so long. But
anything for a screw, huh Joey?” Matt said over Jordan. Jordan turned and noticed Joey. “Is this true? Are you just
trying to sleep with me?” Jordan asked as Christian moved in the room. “Jay, it’s not
like that. Matt is” Joey paused as he tried to say something. “Telling the truth about the other girls. But you are
different, I care for you.” Joey said as Jordan caught her breath. “So, it doesn’t matter if we sleep
together?” Jordan asked, as Joey couldn’t find his voice. “Of course it
matters you were tossing it to me when I meet you.” Matt said as Jordan turned around to face him. “I am sorry what are you
referring to?”
Matt smiled to himself. There
was a rift between Joey and Jordan ... time for the nail in the coffin. “You
remember the night before you met Joey. We were at Marty’s and you were all
over me. You even kissed me.” Matt teased as Joey turned to Jordan. “You said nothing happened.” Joey shouted at her,
“Nothing did! I swear Joey, Matt has me confused with...” Jordan paused as she remembered who he did make out with.
“Damn, you suck at lying.” Matt said as Jordan had had enough of his crap. Jordan turned to him and sighed. She hated being violent but
this was just cause. Matt was taken aback by her slap. “May be you should ask
Amy about that night.” Jordan said as she moved to leave. Joey realized that Jordan was leaving. He pushed past Matt and Christian. She was
not leaving like this.
“Why must you be an ass?”
Christian questioned as Matt looked at him. “Whatever, I just want a turn with
her. There is something about her.” Matt said. “For a smart guy, you are a dumbass! She is something that you would not understand. Jordan is the perfect thing for Joey. They know what each other
is thinking. They compliment each other. You know you still love Amy and why
you toy with her. I will never understand you.” Christian said as Joey walked
back in. “I hate you!” Joey said through gritted teeth. “I hope Vince does not
mind if I kick your ass.” Joey said as he tackled Matt. Christian grabbed Joey
and pulled him into the living room. “He is not worth it!” Christian said as
Joey fumed. “Yeah, Joe! I don’t want to take your
pride, I mean I am about to take your girl.” Matt said too confidently for
Christian’s taste. Christian decided to let go of Joey. Joey tackled Matt again
and started punching. Christian’s conscience was counting to 20 or something
like that. Joey had a lot of anger at this point and Christian was not going to
walk on eggshells. “Okay, JOEY, man, let it go! Go calm down.” Christian said
as he moved Joey to his room. Matt pulled himself up and looked at Christian.
“I was waiting for you to do the twist of fate.” Christian joked as Matt slowly
exited the house.
Jordan walked into her apartment and slammed the door. As she
walked to her bedroom, she silently cursed Joey. She should have known that he
was after one thing. Jordan walked to the bathroom and ran a bath. Her soul needed
soothing and what better than a hot bubble bath. Jordan heard the phone ring and cringed. She walked and looked
at the caller id. Reluctantly, she picked up the phone. “Hello?” She said. “Jordan, listen, I need to see you.” Joey pleaded as Jordan laughed to fight back the tears. “I do not think I can
handle seeing you at this present time. But then again I am vulnerable enough
for you to sleep with me, so sure come on over.” Jordan said as Joey sighed. “How can you say that?” Joey
questioned. “Oh wait, you did tell me that you were not just dating me to get
me in bed.” Jordan said as she noticed her roommate, Shawna
come in.
“Jay, you can’t think that. I
mean we have lain in a bed together and I have never tried anything out of the
way. I have never forced you to take steps that you didn’t want to. Was Matt so
convincing that you now doubt the feelings I have for you?” Joey questioned as Jordan looked down. “It’s not just that... do you remember when
I asked you about the conversation you had with Amy? You completely shut me
out. You have never done that to me. That hurt Joey, how can we be together if
something comes up again that you think I can’t handle?” Jordan questioned.
Joey bit his lip as he thought
about what Jordan had just said. He did shut her out and tried to handle
it without her. “Okay, I think we should stop before we say something we might
regret. I am willing to give you space only if you came to the show on
Tuesday?” Joey proposed as Jordan hated this side of him. He was too damn sweet. “Okay, Okay,
but Shawna is coming with me.” Jordan said as Joey smiled. “That’s fine, just as long as we
can talk after the show.” Joey insisted as Jordan sighed. “Alright, I will see you on Tuesday. Joey, I...”
Jordan paused as she realized what she was about to say.
“Umm... I will see you on Tuesday.”
Shawna sat down and looked at her roommate. Whatever had
happened with her and Joey was enough to piss her off to not want to be around
him. However it was not enough to make her leave him. “Not now Shawna...
I do not want to talk about it. Let me get my head together and I will talk
then. If anyone calls I am not here.” Jordan called as she walked into the bathroom and closed the
door. Shawna
sighed and sifted through the mail. She hated that Joey and Jordan was having problems. They were like peas and carrots.
Joey made her laugh and loved her. Shawna knew that
neither one of them would say that. She walked into the kitchen to fix some
dinner when the phone rang.
“I am NOT here!” Jordan said as she walked to her room. “Hello?” Shawna said as she placed the frozen entrée on the counter.
“Shawna, this is Christian. What’s up?” “Not a whole
lot... just fixing a little dinner. What’s up on your end?” Shawna
said as she felt this was a conference call. “Nothing really.
Joey basically wanted me to call and see how Jordan is really doing.” Christian said as he noticed Joey
glancing at him. “I mean she is hurting but she’s not quitting on Joey. She is
just clearing her head. She’s feels like Joey wants to be overprotective and
she doesn’t like that,” Shawna said as Christian
relayed the message. Shawna smiled as Jordan as she grabbed a drink from the refrigerator. “I am not
asking Shawna that.” Christian said as Shawna laughed. “Hey. Hold on a minute.” Jordan looked at Shawna as she handed
her the phone.
“Jordan, I promise that Joey is not trying to talk to you. He is
just trying to make sure you are okay and all.” Christian pleaded as Jordan sighed and walked out on the balcony. “Is he all nervous
and stuff? I am not breaking up with him. I just need space right now, Chris.
Joey needs to understand that.” Jordan said as Christian once again relayed the message. “Chris, ask her if she trusts me?” Joey asked
as Christian looked at him. “Chris, I don’t doubt his trust just his
judgments.” Jordan said as Christian repeated her answer. Just as Joey
thought of another question, Jordan thought about her previous plan.
“Hey Chris, what do you think of
Shawna?” Christian smiled at the question. They had
pleasant conversation and common interests. If he was going to attempt to be
serious she would be the girl. “She’s cool and all. Why are you going to set us
up or something?” Christian questioned. Joey looked at his cousin and wondered
about the basis of the conversation. “Maybe, Mr. York... just may be. Look, tell
Joey I care him but he needs to be patience about this. I will see you guys on
Tuesday.” Jordan said as she hung up the phone.
Shane tried not to laugh as he
noticed how painful Matt was walking. “Are you okay man? You look like you just
fell off the turnip truck.” Matt just cut his eyes and moved to the living
room. “I don’t need your assessments, Helms. Do you know Jordan’s number?” Shane glanced at him and frowned. “It is
apparent that Joey has kicked your ass once and now you are tempting fate.
Thick-headedness is not a quality to have right now.” Shane said as Matt looked
at him. “I just want to apologize for what happened earlier.” Matt said very
unequivocally.
“I’ll dial the number.” Shane
said as Matt smiled convincingly. Shane decided to ask for Jordan, They were pretty good friends and he had to make sure
she was up to this, “hello?” Jordan said. “Hey Jay-wardy!
What’s up?” Shane asked sweetly. “Not me, I was about sleep! What are you up
to?” Jordan asked in return. “Well, Matt wanted to apologize for
early.” Shane said as Jordan cleared her throat. “Put him on the phone.” Jordan said as Shane glanced at Matt. “Don’t hurt her or I will
hurt you worse that Joey.” Shane threatened.
Matt shook off Shane’s
threatening stares. “Jordan, I want to apologize for the improper way I acted
earlier.” Matt said as Jordan bit her lip. “Although you should be more sincere, I
will accept that.” Matt realized that her and Joey
must still be at odds. “Well, let me take you to dinner then,” Jordan tried not to laugh but this asshole needed a clue. He
just basically accused her of sleeping with him and now wanted her to me him
for dinner. She had to beat him at his own game. “Sure, where do you want to
meet?” Jordan said so congenially that it caught Matt off guard. “Umm, how about Outback on Wendell at 8: 30.” Matt suggested as Jordan agreed and hung up the phone. She immediately called
Christian. She hated when she elaborated plans, especially when they did not
involve her.
Matt smiled as Amy stood in his
bedroom. “Where are you going?” Amy questioned trying not to sound jealous but
knew it was not working. “I am going out and you are not invited.” Matt said
callously. “You act like I care who you go out with.” Amy shouted at him. “Amy,
you need to chill. I mean damn I am just going to lay Jordan and will come back to you.” Matt said as he pulled her
in to a passionate embrace, “Matt, why take a chance on her when you know what
you have with me?” Amy asked as Matt ran his fingers through her hair. “It’s
just a new experience, Amies! Just
a new experience.” Matt said as he exited the house.
Amy wanted to throw something.
She so wanted to just grab Matt and shake him into her reality. Shake him so he
would remember the love that they shared. “Amy, pick up the phone.” Shane
shouted as Amy reached for the cordless.
“Hello?” Amy said as Jordan suddenly lost nerve. “Hello?” Amy said again as she
thought it was Matt playing a joke. “Amy, this is Jordan.” All of the sudden angry filled her. “Is it not enough
that you are going out with Matt that you have to rub my nose in it.” Amy said spitefully as Jordan was taken back. “Look, I am just going for the meal. I
am trying to help you out.” Jordan said, as Amy suddenly became interested.
Joey turned and looked at Shane.
“You are joking... Jordan is not going out with Matt.” Christian looked up from
his bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and glared at his cousin.
“Joe, she has a plan. She is going to get Matt hot and bother and then turning
him over to Amy.” Joey tried to deal with this; Jordan was going to get Matt for his stunts. He just hoped that
it worked. Amy sat in the living room. Jordan had said that plan was foolproof. As Amy noticed two
sets of headlights she moved to her room. She held her breath as she undressed.
“Matt, easy you have me all
night.” Jordan said as Matt molested her. “Oh you are a cock tease! You
know I will go in my room and change so not to embarrass you. You can change
out here and then come in.” Matt said as Jordan tried on to laugh in his face. “You are so thoughtful,
Matt. I am a little shy about changing in front of you. Keep the lights off and
I will follow your voice.” Jordan said amiably as she started undressing herself. Matt walked into the dark room smiling. Jordan looked for Amy as she walked out in her robe. “Okay,
spray this on.” Jordan whispered as Matt turned on the radio. “I am not sure
why you are doing this but thank you.” Amy said as Jordan looked at her. “Sometimes what you want needs to come in
a different package.” Jordan said as they moved to the door. “Matt, are you ready for
me?” Jordan called as Matt sighed loudly. “More than you can ever
imagine!” Matt answered as Amy entered. “Here I come, sweetheart!” Jordan said as she walked out the door.
Jordan smiled devilishly as she left Matt’s. She wanted to go
to Joey’s and brag about what she did but realized she had built a wall that
prevented that. She reached for her cell and called instead. “Hello!” Christian said as Jordan wondered why he was so ecstatic at 11 pm. “Hey
Christian! I was just calling to let you know I got out alright.” Jordan said as Christian laughed, “What all did he do through?”
Jordan sighed as she rehashed the evening, “He told me how
beautiful I was, he kissed me and rubbed me on my leg. I do feel dirty though.”
Jordan said as she shivered.
“Damn baby! Way to take one for
the team. Do you want to talk to Joey or just want me to pass along the
message?” Christian asked. “Umm pass along the message; also tell him I love
him.” Jordan said as she ended the conversation. “Damn! Joey, come
here!” Christian demanded as he and Shane grunted. “WE are in the middle of a
game Chris what it is?” Joey asked as Christian rolled his eyes. “That was Jordan on the phone... she left Matt’s okay. He kissed her and
she wanted you to know that she loved you!”
Joey paused the Sonic game and thought about what Christian had said. “Hey,
what was that last part?” Joey asked just to make sure. “You don’t really like
me do you? She said that she loved you! I am not sure why. I mean you are a
pain in the ass.” Christian said as he walked towards the kitchen, Joey smiled
as he unpaused the game. “I
take it that is the first time she has said she loved you!” Shane said as Joey
nodded. “I wonder if Matt has noticed he is sleeping with Amy?”
Shane gagged a little. “Probably not, I mean he was more than excited that she
agreed to go out with him that he didn’t notice the difference.” Joey pauses the game
and looked at Shane. “Are you saying Jordan is a freak?” Shane thought quickly. “No, I am saying that Matt was so excited
that a buffalo could have walked in and he would have not noticed the
difference, I think Jordan is a charming lady. You are going to have a lovely time
deflowering that one.” Shane said as Joey looked at him. As Joey laughed, Shane
glanced at him. “You mean she isn’t?” Shane said as Joey unpaused the game. “Easy Helms!”
Shane chuckled as they finished the game.
Tuesday night
“Jordan, we are going to be late.” Shawna
shouted. She was anxious enough, her and Christian had
talked a couple times during the last couple days and Shawna
knew she could grow to like him. It didn’t hurt that Jordan and Joey dated. Shawna had the
plan that when Jordan stayed with Joey then Christian could stay with her. She
hated being alone. “Shawna, they are not wrestling
first. We have leeway.” Jordan said as she walked into the living room. “Damn Jay! If
those jeans got any lower, you wouldn’t need to wear anything underneath.” Shawna teased as Jordan stuck her tongue out. “Joey likes these a lot okay!” Shawna shook her head, “I guess what Joey likes Joey gets!”
Jordan just laughed as they exited the apartment.
“I don’t see her!” Joey said as
Christian stretched, “The only time she has been to a show on time when we
bring her so chill,” Christian said. He was amazed at his composure. He and Shawna had planned to go the opposite of where Joey and
Jordan were going to be. Joey smiled as he noticed Jordan walk in. “There they are!” Joey said as Christian stood
up and looked just to make sure Joey was not joking. Christian smiled as her
and Jordan sat down. “So what are you guys doing tonight?”
Christian asked as Joey stretched, “Jordan is spending the night with me.” Joey answered as he
glanced at Christian. “Yes, I am going to stay with Shawna!
And don’t start!” Joey just laughed, as he knew Jordan was behind this one.
Jordan sat at the table and smiled at Joey, “What Jordan? You
know I hate that do you know what I am thinking look!” Joey said, as Jordan looked innocent. “Can’t a woman stare at the man she
loves?” “Well, when you put it that way, stares till your heart are content.”
Joey said as he took her hand. “Joey, you do understand why I got upset the
other day right?” Jordan questioned as Joey squeezed her hand. “Not at first, but
then I thought about us and realized I had shut you out! I never want to do
that again. I mean it takes you and I to make this
relationship work.” Joey said as Jordan leaned across the table. She gently placed a kiss on his
lips.
“Good answer, Mr. Matthews! I think it is time
that we go to bed!” Jordan said as she took the plates and placed them in the
refrigerator. “But honey, we were not finished eating.” Joey said as he pouted.
Jordan placed her hands on her hips and realized she was being
a bit subtle. “Apparently you think I am sleepy...” Jordan said as she turned towards the bedroom. “Ms. Nelson, have I ever said I like the way
you think!” Joey said as he smiled and turned out the lights.
