Summary: Based
on a cute joke that was sent to me a while back
Stephanie sat in the living room. It
was the norm on Mondays for her and their two sons to sit in front to the
television to watch Daddy on Raw. Stephanie often missed being able to travel
with Paul and participate in storylines but she had Paul Jr. and Kennedy. Paul
Jr. is 6 and Kennedy is 4. They were truly a mixture of Stephanie and Paul. As
Stephanie’s mother told her, she wished she would have a child who was Stephanie
when she was little. Stephanie believed she received a double portion.
PJ and Kennedy was preparing for bed.
PJ had been thinking about something for a long time. His daddy cursed all the
time. Since he was named after his daddy, he felt that he had the right to
start cursing. Kennedy was named after Grandpa Vince and he had the cursing
right as well. Daddy always said hell and Grandpa would always try to fire
someone’s ass. Those would be their introductory words.
PJ waited until after their mommy had
tucked them in to begin the conversation. “Kennedy, I think we need to start
cursing. It’s our birthright to curse. Daddy and Grandpa do it. I figure we
would start off slowly. I’ll say hell and you’ll say ass. Agreed?” PJ asked in
a whisper.
“Agr- I’ll
do it but you say your word before I say mine.” Kennedy insisted before they
fell asleep. PJ and Kennedy woke up and got dressed the next morning. PJ
reminded Kennedy of the plan. They played in their room until their mommy
called them down for breakfast. They greeted her with a kiss and took their
spots at the table.
Stephanie always loved having
breakfast with her boys. During the week due to the fullness of her schedule,
they normally had time for something simple. “Boys, what are you eating for
breakfast?” PJ looked at Kennedy and gave him a wink plus a grin.
“Hell
mom, I guess you can give me some cheerios.” Stephanie was beside herself. She
knew where he learned it from and was not happy. Stephanie orders PJ to
timeout. She quickly grabbed the kitchen towel and popped him with it. She
follows behind him until he’s in the timeout chair.
“And don’t you even THINK about
coming out of THAT chair until you’ve thought about what you said wrong.” Stephanie
yells as Kennedy thinks about what he should do next. May be PJ’s delivery was off a bit. He noticed his mommy as she
reentered the kitchen. Stephanie shoots Kennedy a stern look. “And what about
you, young man… what do you want for breakfast?”
Kennedy narrows his widen eyes and stops
his trembling. He swallows hard. Kennedy leaned back and crossed his arms. “I
don’t know but you can bet your ass it won’t be cheerios!” Kennedy answered as
Stephanie threw her hands in the air.
