"Why are we here again",
Buffy groaned as they walked through the corridor. She was positive
they had passed this door before but
the last time she tried to inform her friend she had to
deal with a pissed off Slayer.
"Because
Randy asked me to visit", Faith smiled as she continued on down the path.
Buffy just sighed and followed her. After leaving what was left of Sunnydale the pair had become close- so close that if you
started on one you started on the other. Which was why the blonde had agreed to
travel with her sister slayer to see this guy again. She didn't know why but
there was something about him that got Buffy's senses tingling. She couldn't
understand how Faith couldn't see it. She was too busy daydreaming that she
didn't see the man walk up to her.
"Hey
little girl, watch where you're walking", she looked up and started at the
man. He was staring back expecting here to say something. "Well?", he
carried on "Don't you have something to say?". "Yeah", she
smiled at him "Get out of my way", and she pushed him using just a
little of her strength but not enough for anyone to realize anything was out of
place. Not even looking back she followed the same path that Faith had taken
only a few minutes before.
"Who
was that?", John turned around to see Kurt Angle walking over to him while
staring at Buffy's back. "Not a clue", John smiled as he accepted the
coffee that Kurt offered him "but i would love
to find out".
"Faith",
Buffy had been looking for the brunette for the last 15 minutes and had no luck
in finding her. "Buffy", Randy came walking over to her. "If he
wasn't such a slime he would be cute", she thought to herself. "Hey
Randy", she offered a fake smile. "Have you seen Faith". Randy
shook his head. "Last i heard she was on her way
to meet me". Buffy sighed she didn't like the sound of this.
"No
there's still no news", She was on the phone to Giles telling him about
Faith's no- show. Randy had taken her to
Vince when they realized she was missing and the chairman had given Buffy
control of his office so she could find her friend. The room was currently full
of wrestlers from both Raw and Smackdown who had
volunteered to help this tiny blonde find her friend.
"Are
you sure she hasn't reverted back........" "NO", Buffy shouted
cutting her watcher off before he finished his sentence. She turned around and
noticed every inhabitant of the room was now staring at her. She turned around
and continued the conversation in whispers. "She's a little spitfire isn't
she?", JBL smiled walking over to where John, Randy and Chris Jericho were
sitting. Randy smiled "Yeah Faith said she was short tempered",
he looked over at John and then
exchanged glances with the other two. Ever since this morning all John had spoke
about was this little girl from Sunnydale. He knew
they were staring at him but he wasn't bothered. His girl
was upset. She may not know it yet but
by the end of this visit Buffy would be his girlfriend.
Buffy
knew he was staring at her and it took all her strength not to look back. Just
as she put the phone down, Vince came through the door. "I've just had a
message. Buffy's to go to the car-park alone and she will find out where her
friend is". "No way", John growled "She is not going
alone". Buffy walked over to him and stood on her tiptoes to give him a
kiss on the cheek. "It's okay", she smiled at him "I'll be fine.
She pulled him down for another kiss and walked out the door. "She'll be
ok", Randy said patting him on the back.
Buffy
had been waiting for ten minutes and she was pissed. When she found out who
took Faith she was going to skin them alive. Just as she was about to give up a
black car passed and as it did a piece of paper was flung out of the window.
Buffy picked it up and read it. She was back in the office in under a minute.
"They
will be here", Benoit said "Don't worry". Buffy just glared at
him. Then a car drew up beside the group before stopping right beside them. The
door opened and out got Batista followed by HHH. "Glad you got my
message", The Game smiled at the blonde. "Now what's your answer?'.
Randy looked at Buffy before moving over to HHH. "Fine", he sighed.
"You get the belt as long as i get Faith
back".
Hunter
smiled and opened the door and out got Bischoff followed by Faith. Randy tried
to get to Eric but was stopped by Buffy. "Let's get this write before he
signs anything", she said. "This clause is for tomorrow night only
right". "Yeah", Hunter
smirked. She looked at Faith and an understanding passed between the two girls.
"Sign it", Faith said.
Randy just
looked at her but knew he had no choice. When the deal was done and dusted and
Faith was handed over. Evolution and Bischoff started to make their way back to
the car.
"One more thing", Buffy
stopped them. "It's one thing to annoy one slayer but two, that's just
stupid". Before they knew what was happening Buffy and Faith started
wailing on The Animal and The Game. The wrestlers tried with all their might
but they were no match for the two girls. Everyone else was too stunned to do
anything but sit back and watch. When they were finished Buffy walked over to
Eric and took the contract out of his hands and tore it up before walking over
to Faith and linking her arms with the other girl. "Told you never to mess
with anything that's mine", she smiled at Faith as they walked away.
It
was a few days later and Buffy and Faith were getting ready to go back to Sunnydale. Faith and Randy were off somewhere doing god
know what leaving Buffy alone with John. Neither knew what to say. Buffy looked
at him. "Thanks", she smiled walking over to sit on the bed beside
him. He put his arm around her shoulder and cuddled her into him. "That's
ok",
he laughed. "Now i know why it hurt like hell when you pushed me the other
day". 'So when do i get to see Sunnydale", he kissed the top of her head. Buffy
grinned. She had finally found someone who didn't care about how who she was
and she finally realized that she was now a cookie. She had done baking. And it
wasn't with a vampire. She could finally say she was normal again.
Life was finally good.
